New York Rangers trade longtime defenseman Ryan Lindgren and Jimmy Vesey to the Colorado Avalanche. What does this mean for the New York Rangers and their NHL Trade Deadline plans? What moves will the New York Rangers make over the next week?

Great show today boys! I agree that its time to move on and that includes Drury. Dont think he should be the guy making decisions anymore but gut tells me they keep him. Move on from Kreider, Mika and agree we shop Bread but I'm getting rid of Kreider and Mika this off season. Start letting the younger guys get more ice time and keep Fox out the rest of this year.
We may never win a cup again! 30+ years and counting!
Lindgren wasn't really a fire sale trade .I thought he was just average like most of our players
LINDGREN WAS HORRIBLE, ZERO OFFENSIVE SKILLS. TOO SMALL. GLA D HE IS GONE.. HE WAS ALSO SHORTENING THE CAREER OF ADAM FOX… FOX TOOK ALOT OF PUNISHMENT IN THE CORNERS BECAUSE LINDGREN WAS UNABLE TO CARRY THE PUCK HIMSELF… JUST A TERIBLE PLAYER
Keandre next please. This DEI hire failed!
PS a good young player but he’s got a lot of deficiencies, and don’t expect him to be a hitting player , he’s big but he doesn’t use his body much, bottom 6 player , good depth! He played himself out of the starting line-up in Denver
Great Video, as usual, guys. I think The Colorado Avalanche did great, but, GM Chris Drury did what he had to do, so, I'm thinking, therefore, it's a good trade for both. Let me know what you think.
Nice to see Maria saying hello to you guys, even though Marc & she are married. It's the way to keep a relationship going strong. Unfortunately, I can't be in the same boat, because of different experiences/bad. I'm happy for you guys. I wish the both of you Eternal Love.
I agree, Filk. I also think that if they move K'Andre Miller, they are going to want an NHL guy in return (Bowen Byram would be a good move).
I'm starting to question trades made, recently, by Colorado. I mean Byram, Rantenen & so many others (except for that Goalie Trade w/ The San Jose Sharks – that was A Winner).
I don't know, but, I'm against a Chris Kreider Trade. Not only is he A Decent Scorer (for 20-30 Goals), even in A Bad Year, not only do JT Miller & he bring the 2014 Season Memories, but, I am worried, that, if he leaves, he'll be A Ranger Killer for the new team and/or, maybe even A Decent Lower Line Player in his waining years for us. Let me know what you think. PS. I can see obtaining Rantenen or the like in A Package Deal, but, I'm even weary of that, since, we know what Chris Kreider has done/can do, however, a player like that might fizzle out on The Rangers, such as The Bobby Carpenter Trade, for Mike Ridley, Kelly Miller + bit us in The A*s, many years ago.
I guess that this was made a bit before Chicago Blackhawks trades Seth Jones to Florida.
Yeah! Marc got Devon Toews name right. LOL.
Anthony called it right. Seth Jones was traded by Chicago to Florida.
As I said many times in The Live Chats, with the respect he deserves, it's not really in The Nature of Lou Lamarillo to do these Rebuilds/Retools. I'm not knocking him for trying to improve The Islanders, but, it's obvious that they need to get Younger & Better. I know that Anthony agrees with me, as he has in The Past. I think that it was said best, that as long as Lou believes he's got some striking distance, even if it's not there, he's going to go for it (he did it with The Devils).
Mystery Alaska. A good movie, but, The King Of All Hockey Movies, is still Slap Shot.
Rich Rotten. Kudos for Ryan Lindgren & Jimmy Vesey, but, it was merely time to move on from them, especially with The Igor Shesterkin Extension next year (unless Chris Drury deals him before it kicks in).
As you guys know, I wasn't at all happy with Rentals Only GM Chris Drury was, but, recently, I (& likely Jim Dolan) am very pleased with his moves, in, the obtaining JT Miller, Borgen & others, while getting rid of all of The Mediocrity. I think that Chris Drury should get another year.
Classic Ryan Reeves response to scoring 1 goals ina game, "I'm A Goal Scorer?" LOL
If each one of you can give me your comment (Identifying the one commenting) on my view, as you remember, that Chris Drury has reversed his Rentals Only Trades that he was doing for the last few years, which I see as A Plus, this season. Let me know what you think. Do you agree with me, that it was Bad Decisions that he's been correcting this season? Also, I still have it in the back of my mind, that both The Alexis Lafrenniere/Igor Shesterkin Extensions aren't a guarantee that they won't be moved (I'm mindful of Filk & you guys that it's not likely, however, if he did it, you've got to give it to him, that he didn't let them go for nothing & still got out of their contracts).
Call me wrong, but, I think that Artemi Panarin & Chris Kreider should remain Rangers. I think that they'd do Team Friendly deals & realize that they're in their waining years. Therefore, you would have goal scorers if they're put on lower lines & this gives the team Depth Scoring.
If he'd go there, maybe it's The Chicago Blackhawks that need to get Mikko Rantenen, since, I think The Chicago Blackhawks need to start winning games or Kyle Davidson is likely on The Hot Seat with Chicago. Let me know what you think
Exactly, Filk. That's what I was saying about Mikko Rantenen on The Carolina Hurricanes. It is not A Fit, because he's only (or more of) A Purely Offense Player, which The Carolina Hurricanes aren't. Even with Sebastian Aho, he's not solely a scorer.
Good Job, Marc. You've been doing great on Huberdeau.
Filk. I think that Lou Lamarillo is more dissolutioned than he's dumb. I think that you might say it's 6 of one half a dozen of another, but, I think that it's so much more dissolutioned & stubborn.
I think that it was John Hynes and/or Claude Julien that was doing great as coach of The New Jersey Devils, when Lou Lamarillo took over behind the bench & they got knocked out before or in the first round. If any of you have a recollection of that season, let me know.
Anthony. Chris Drury has to be somewhat of a buyer, so he's able to stay on Jim Dolan's Good Side (that's likely one of the reasons, if the reasons, he did Alexis Lafrenniere & Igor Shesterkin Extensions – if he'd not given the extensions & if they walked, Chris Drury would definitely have been gone).
