OMG….. Vancouver sports media, brutal. Always creating some controversy around the team. Who would want to play here and deal with this sh*t day in and day out. What an embarrassment.
toccs already said he isn't talking contract until after the season, he is 100% focused on the remaining games and trying for a playoff spot. There is a good relationship between Tocc and Allvin based on interviews throughout the season. Contract talks will happen, but AFTER the season is over. No drama or anything here, except two parties that respect each other.
Just because Philly has fired Torts does not mean now that Tocchet is heading there. Dhali needs to relax – unlike Boudreau, Tocchet is the management's pick to coach this team. Both sides appear to be okay to talk contract in the off-season, so let's just let that happen.
I am concerned that Tocchet's team continues to not generate a lot of shots. I think he has done a good job installing a system that allows this team to shut things down, but perhaps the team needs an assistant who can help in the creativity department when it comes to offence.
If Tochett wants to go, let him go. Why is it end of world, Dhali? There are lots of coaches out there! Settle down. Annoying Vancouver media, Pettersson had a point.

You really have become the national enquirer of sports thats just sad and pathetic.
This is stupid, Tocchet might leave but he sure isnt going to Philly, however NYR is another matter
Tocchet will coach a team with hardcore Canadian and US players on their roster.
Unless The Canucks win the Stanley Cup this season, or next. Or they pay Hughes 15 million plus per year. Quinn is 1000% gone.
Canucks management is an absolute joke.
Tocchet deserves better than Vancouver. He would be treated like royalty in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
People blame the media, yet itโs the managements fault. This wouldnโt be in the news if the higher ups actually did their jobs properly.
No coach that has options would want to coach a team as petey being their #1 centre. End of story

Making something out of nothing
>who should be the next coach: tocchet (age 60), again? / claude julien (64)? / joel quennville (66)?

I just see these guys as a small town comedy show, then itโs entertaining
Pompous Alvin is the problem!
Dave is know for his Don Taylorisms from his highlights of the night days, Rick now should be known for his Dhaliwalisms like the 11th wire
Elias Pettersson had a point. Vancouver media is annoying! This video perfect example!
This like the male equivalent of The View.
Whereโs Dave Pratt when you need him?๐๐๐
Whereโs Scott Rintoul when you need him๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Tocchet will be coaching Philadelphia next year.
