I like Greg and I really like Dave – Dave is by far the best play by play on radio – but there is no sense of journalism anymore. Greg to be a hockey journalist needs to do his homework even with teams the Lightning only play twice and to fully understand why a name takes time since once committed there is no going back. To blast the team for being so slow is embarrassing. Branding is not easy or fast and yes the trademark problems are real and have slowed things down. And since a yeti isn't real I can see why the company can trademark the word as a unique brand name as much as I don't like this. Yeti would be so much better than mammoth. Please do your homework, Greg, and become much more of a journalist. You cannot guess about stuff like this. It is your job to do the research. Your complaints reveal an inexcusable ignorance as opposed to an informed difference of opinion. The irony in all of this is marketing and branding is starting to embrace naming teams for specific products. Ads on shirts and stadiums is bad enough but naming a team the "Red Bulls" and the like is disgraceful.
