He’s The Real Deal..

OK Guys, it’s time to take a look at the game this afternoon between the Montreal Canadiens and the Florida Panthers.. The Habs were on a 5 game losing streak going into this one.. But they always seem to play their best against teams like Florida.. The Habs win this game by a score of 4-2, and once again sit at the final wild card position in the east. Lets break this one down!

  1. Your voice is ok don't worry!🤣 I like the way you deliver your review 🫡
And you have to be a real hockey fan to understand that your Toronto friends had to overcome the primal instinct to hate( in a way) or undermine everything about the teams in a rivalry with ours… to make that statement. But… that is how much attention Hutson brings by his play and his success so far. I mean… the kid is breaking records or on his way to break nhl all time records. If he doesn't win the Calder over celebrini or michkov… that would be a crime in broad day light. If they give it to Wolf and he had good stats … it will still hurt but a tiny bit less.
Hutson is the logic choice at this point.

  2. People saying he hasn't reached his ceiling yet … no shit, we can't even begin to calculate his ceiling or full potential.

He is part of a few players getting so good at creating space, he is going to cost us so much in 2 years 😞

  3. my friend, the real deal is right… WOWw! just out of words to describe this kid.

currently the the Calder Favorite. how it's even debatable is beyond me.

just simple fact he's a rookie, and yet here flirting with NHL history….
could very well overtake Larry murphy for most assists by rookie Dman lol
this is a record that stood for 40 years

lol it's really hard to believe what he's doing at age 20

  4. Thank goodness this one is a W. Continue the streak against FLA and hope for the clean sweep. Would love to hear your thoughts on the goaltending situation in MTL. Montembeault has both some high highs, but some low lows. Dobes seems to allow weak ones, but stop tough ones. Hard on the momentum. Any thoughts on goaltending for the next vid?

  5. Lane Hutson is basically the second coming of Bobby Orr. The fact that he is tied with Quinn Hughes in assists and is only 2nd to Cale Makar during his ROOKIE YEAR, people should be following Hutson nearly as much as they're watching the G8 8 Chase.

  6. Great video Junkie! Pumped the Habs are back in a wildcard spot but super pissed the coacing staff doesn't see Arber as a top 6 defenceman. He makes a great first pass is solid positionally (most of the time) and the boys always play bigger and the opposing team always play smaller when he's in the lineup…can someone help me make sense of this.

  7. Hutson is a stud. He's more than I ever hoped for watching him play in BU. I'm so happy the Habs drafting him!!

  8. Just imagine the chemistry he had with Cellebrini was mind blowing.
Just imagine the chemistry he'll have with Demidov next year; futur mind blowing times ahead!

  9. Sj fan here, but Hutson definitely deserves the calder. Defense is probably the hardest position to play as a rookie and he's out there making veteran players look silly. I hope he makes the US olympic team next year.

  10. back in the mix once again, this shit is so exiting, ive never watched more hockey in my entire life, what a bonkers end of season it is/gonna be wether we make the playoffs or not

  11. If Leafs fans are praising Hutson—not only is he a non-Leaf, but a Hab to boot— I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet he’s a lock for the Calder.

  12. My brother’s a Habs fan, I am not. That said, I still have the text I sent him in the Spring of last year saying “You gotta watch this kid play. He’s gonna be dynamite on the Habs!” He didn’t know much about him then, but let me tell ya, he sure as shit knows who Hutson is now. He’s a beauty. A little more size and defensive responsibility and he’s a force for the next 12+ years.
