no playoffs until they fix the d and goaltending, playing 4 ld and 2 rd every night isnt working, canl;t haver someone playing the wrong side everynight. Obviously demidov will help, but no #2 center

Arber needs to be in line up, if not on D than on 4th line
Heineman can sit a game or slide up to 2nd and sit Roy.
But playing Arber 4 mins bs Canes was stoopid.
Double shifting Evans, Suzuki, Gallagher disrupting 2nd line and disrupting Hutson-Strubble
Arber sitting there watching his teammates gasss, getting outworked & out chanced, on that missed hit. I can see frustration over sitting so long, tried to make something happen F’d up.
Idiotic,
On a back to back you have 240lbs of top sirloin stapled to the bench for 56 minutes out of 60.
He can skate, can shoot, can pass, can HIT, can FIGHT, can support Anderson in a bottom 6 role, he’s no Brent Burns no Dust’n Buffl’n but he can be a wrecking ball
4 th line needs energy especially against a big team like Florida
Matheson serving pizzas like he’s at Domino’s
If you don’t like D turning pucks over, making bad passes and killing offensive zone momentum at blue line than you can’t like Matheson right now.
Matheson rarely hits, Carrier is carrying that pair and it’s starting to show.
Matheson always puts his D partners in vulnerable positions, did with Ghule and with Hutson, needs a reliable D partner taking a hit to get him the puck so he can skate it up the ice care free.
His best attribute is skating solo a la Newhook with head speed and open ice.
I love this team, have nothing against Matheson the person but give Ghule 6-8 minutes that Matheson would otherwise overplay and things might settle down.
A lack of depth has led to the Habs' best players being overworked. The wheels are starting to come off. I'm still satisfied with the team's direction, though. I really don't understand the panic and anger coming from some members of the fan base.
Mailloux has F u attitude Habs need his size and grit, has a better offensive updlside than Matheson even with less minutes if he starts in 3rd pair
Matheson has F me attitude Hutson has rendered him useless ship him out in a trade add a pick and or prospect for a 2C
Maybe
Laferniere Or Lundell
MacTavish is a pipe dream
Byfield ain’t happening so forget about it.
Let Matheson go
Sign Savard to a 2 way deal, plays mostly in Laval as a player coach / development, keep his character and leadership in the organization, in case of injury he gets called up to Habs, stays local.
Short memory Shaun? No too long ago it was not uncommon to see opponents run at Habs goalie Carey Price and prior to acquiring Ben Chiarot NOT ONE Hab player would retaliate – not big guy Shae Weber, not Scandella, not Petry, not Kulak – no one. Price was literally fighting his own battles – AND WASN'T THAT NICE? I don't see anybody taking liberties with Habs' players now – do you?
How to avoid other team’s rebuild mistakes, like Buffalo? The team is allowed 50 contracts and have an abundance in their pipeline, especially draft picks. What’s the plan for seriously contending for the cup, what years? This would dictate how to deal with the 2c. Patience is the order of the day.
Ivan hasn't a clue, they haven't a clue, they stick together like glue. Who never all who could gave a say would have a say did have a say of what it should look like. 2nd line c rw w.e. inside the roster.
The top guys are fatigued because MSL rode the top guys. MSL rode the top guys too hard because MSL wanted to win. The roster construction is an issue. Hopefully the habs continue to improve.

They would have second thoughts when Arbor is on the ice we have seen this in previous games
Coaching is messing up more than the players.
Overplaying Monty
Underplaying Dobes
Overplaying Matheson
Thank God Ghule is back
Ghule – Carrier
Hutson – Strubble
Matheson – Savard / Arber

Arber is the perfect guy to be out there fighting.
Anderson getting injured or off the ice for 5mins when the 3rd line is carrying this team right now doesn’t make sense.
Strubble perfect partner for Hutson right now, why mess up D pairings, with Strubble there guys will think less about running Hutson anyway
Arber needs to be in line up period whether he is 3rd pair or 4th line.
Habs don’t have enough scary forwards, let Arber colour the boards in Florida red on 4th line
If the exact same team I can see htem fall backwards next year but I expect to see at least Demidov added and maybe a big trade.

They’re dressing Pezzeta over Roy …
These coaches are out coaching themselves out of the playoffs
If they run
Matheson – Carrier
Ghule – Hutson
Strubble – Savard
Over
Ghule – Carrier
Strubble – Hutson
Matheson – Savard
They are truly overthinking this shit
Ruining chemistry on 2nd line taking out Roy
Pezzeta’s 5 minutes tonight Wong help the 4th line energy, he has no timing rather see Arber there
Taking Strubble away from Hutson makes no sense
Keeping Matheson with Carrier is not great for Carrier, he’s carrying that pair and starting to feel it.
I don’t blame the players right now the coaches are F’ng things up
just give the Pens all our picks for Crosby Crosby Crosby…

1 ,2 ,3 ,10, 12 are my five untouchables
Evans play since he got paid, has me thinking he's been around Joel "ultra performer in contract year' Armia too much.

The handling of Kirby Dach cost this team the playoffs this year. The team improved significantly after his departure.
