On September 25th, 2024, the 24-25 LA Kings Campaign hit a major snag before it even began. In a preseason game against the Vegas Golden Knights, Drew Doughty broke his ankle off a hit by Tanner Pearson into the boards at T-Mobile Arena. The excitement building for the upcoming season came to a screeching halt as Doughty was helped off the ice, with most knowing immediately the severity of the injury. Through months of grueling, painful, yet determined rehab, Doughty returned to the ice and into the lineup in January. His season debut against the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers came right before the 4 Nations Break, where Doughty would go on to win Gold with Team Canada. He’s now firmly back in the lineup, managing the pain and recovery, but making his usual impact as the team gears up for another playoff run.
Come along for the ride as we followed Drew throughout his recovery in the latest episode of Black & White presented by Spectrum.

Two things. We needed Drews comment on him getting burned vs Kempe in Sweden game. @ 7:00 Was that Muzzin!!!!!??? As of 23-24 he works for Toronto Maple Loafs as a scout.
This guy is the biggest scum bag there is in the league
Drew – like any aging hockey player – has lost a step. We know this. What we need from him, as he is able, is leadership. Leadership in hitting and making smart plays, and leadership on offense…assists and goals. Where I think he's done well is with the newer, younger defensemen as a mentor. He's played 19 games and is a +1. More hits and more points, please.

Drew Doughty….one of my favorite hockey players/characters. And I'm a NYR fan for 50 yrs. Yes I remember 2014. Go Dewey! Great for the game.
Welcome back, King of Warriors!
🎶All I want for summer is Cup number three
No, not two front teeth
Just that third Stanley, please!🎵
(I used to like Tanner Pearson)
