Unless Rasmussen just decided to play better in the second half of last night's game that I didn't watch, I don't know what he's doing so well that the reporters think he deserves his own question. He's a useful player, Todd saying he has an impact on the game every night is a stretch.
Just finish the rest of the season screw the haters, and the doubters play to have fun and play strong. Play like it's your last year of hockey. Have fun and be determined screw the standings. Just go out, play together, rely on each other help when needed, don't leave any man behind, and have fun. Playoffs or not play to have fun. Keep the foot on the gas pedal, and don't slow down. Believe in yourself.

I gave up on playoff hopes 100% after the recent Washington loss. This team just doesn't have it. I agree that Kane and Cat are the only ones consistent lately.
Theres been 3 or 4 teams that have scored hat tricks against the Wings this year and none from our team.
Should have rested Mrazek for Washington and have Alex or Cam play and have Mrazek play against Vegas. He just ahut them out. Running him 4 inna row probably bit the team. I still hope we re sign Kane for nest year but tother than that I dont want to see anyone except for Alex Lyon who I don't expect to return, who is expiring come back. I want Gost back. Gus is asbas as Gost defensively and not even close to as effective offensively
I kinda wonder š¤ if Kane stays in Detroit if he does he must love his teammates unless they have some huge signings this off-season the Stanley cup is a few years away yet Kane probably retires in 3 years
The Wings have to win three more games than Montreal before the end of the season, but they also play a game against them before that. I think thereās still a good chance for them to clinch a wild card spot
God bless Todd McLellan, but it's difficult to consistently play at a high level with so many bad free agent signings by the front office. Why don't we have a director of pro scouting? Why hasn't Yzerman brought in a director of pro scouting when we have a director of amateur scouting?

Cut Taresenko now. He's trying not to block shots by getting skinny on shots. 1st 2 goals he didn't try and block the shot. This means he has given up. Play Shine in his spot. Guy plays hard every game
Bottom line, Stevie has not done the work to bring winning players. Is that illichs fault? Who knows. Petry is not going to do anything but get scored on. Hes a minus player and should have been dealt for "considerations". I give up. Not sure what they see in some of these guys. Kane, senco, petry… Past prime and spent. Should have kept the younger guys. Oh well, im not in charge so whatever.
Everyone keeps saying āwe only need 5 pointsā so does Boston, Columbus, rangers, and 2 other teams. And most of the other teams actually have the drive to get those points.
Something we need to work on is zone entry. Iāve noticed 9 times out of 10 we get in, dump the puck near the goalie causing a turnover, almost EVERYTIME. How about dropping it back to our Defense and slowing the play down, create some plays that way.

We have the coach we need. FTLOG don't turn on Tmac. The problem is the roster, and we need a coach like him once we have the right roster.
