Brad Marchand Talks After Assisting on Bennett’s Game-Winning OT Goal in Florida Panthers Debut

New Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand speaks to the media after assisting on Sam Bennett’s overtime winner in a 2-1 win over the Utah Hockey Club in Sunrise on March 28, 2025.

Marchand, former captain of the Boston Bruins, had been out since a hit against the boards against the Penguins on March 1. He was traded to the Panthers on March 7.

This was his debut with the Panthers; Bennett scored twice in the win.

The Panthers trailed 3-1 before coming back in the second — winning it on a goal from captain Sasha Barkov.
