  1. Just another embarrassing disappointment on record. Blowing a 3-0 lead and another 5-3 lead in the same game is simply pathetic.. Canucks are seemingly allergic to finishing their dominance in games where they become content enough to just roam around their defensive zone until their opponent eventually equalizes. several indecisive moments during OT which led to their eventual loss. The head scratcher for me was not putting Raty on the SO who’d earned it. And Tocchet not selecting Demko in the most pivotal final stretch of the season?? I’m pretty optimistic though, so I still believe Canucks can actually squeeze themselves into the next WC spot.

  2. Game of the season in terms of entertainment? (ft. the classic Canucks)
Credit to Shorthouse who announced the Jackets' goals fair and square without a dejected tone as well.

  3. If the Canucks could've stopped choking leads at least for 3 – 5 games this season we wouldn't be on the outside looking in. this has been happening all year. No team is scared of us scoring first because they know if they just throw on a little pressure we just fold up. FML.

  4. Completely at a loss of words after this game in a rollercoaster of emotions, up and down, left and right, back and forth, etc. Started off strong in the first period, blew it big time in the second, and in the third was absolutely wild and chaotic. Canucks and Jackets score three goals in a span of 45 seconds to force overtime. Imagine if this was played during the playoffs, the crowd, the players, would go insane.

Canucks would've conclude this game in regulation if they didn't blow their 3-0 and 5-3 leads…

  5. was at bar watching game…as soon as Canucks were up 3-0 .. I bet $100 Canucks would lose…3 guys took me up on bet!… thank you Canucks!! I knew I could count on this train wreck !!!! 😆👍

  6. Lankinen needs to make those timely saves, but he hasn’t been doing that as of late. The season is likely over now, unless the Blues or the Wild start losing.

  7. Every highlight involved the puck crossing the line, start/end of reg/OT, or was the shootout clinching save. Sweet.

  8. I'm telling you – I'm going to have a heart attack if the Canucks keep having third periods like this.

  9. What a shootout! Losing after getting out to a 3-0 lead is not good. That might be the final nail in the coffin re post season hopes.
Not the best outing for KL either. Unlucky on a few, but should have had a couple of those too. Crappy way to flush the year. Bummer.

  10. I know you guys are disappointed with the result but listen.. yes they blew a lead but it’s not so much what Vancouver did, Columbus had that jump to them, and despite all of that they managed to re-tie the game twice. 3 mins left and they tied it 6-6, they didn’t just give up. At least they fought back. If this is the end of the season, it’s a fitting end. They fought to stay in the race the whole stretch. GG Canucks. Sherwood, Boeser, Hughes, Rüty played with heart. Honorable mention a surprising return of Demko.

  11. Lank looked awful tonight and so did the defensive coverage. Maybe the road trip is wearing on them all. Coach T needs to develop a defensive switch / style and know when to use it. The potential is there.. it's just not being utilized.
