You replied to me and I can’t find it to respond lol you asked how much I practice – not very much but I do play on leagues two nights a week. I’ve been trying your advice and doing okay but could be better
Man I struggle with a full follow through and full arm extension. Any way to work on that.. I do a throw, stop after the dart release and then complete the follow through. Doesn't matter what I try, I just cant get a smooth throw. It is so frustrating.

Thank you, Thank you!! You just said exactly what I do wrong. My elbow always goes out to the right so my arm doesn't stay vertical. I just threw a few where I concentrated on keeping my elbow and my arm at 90 degrees and I could see a big difference in my groupings, they are lot tighter. And now I can tell when my elbow goes outward by where my dart goes.

The game many Americans call cricket is known by many people in the UK as Tactics. We also have a darts game called cricket but it is very different ie 1 player 'bowls' by throwing at the bull. The other player 'bats' – anything over 45 (or sometimes 60) is scored. The one 'batting'' has a number of pre-agreed 'wickets' or lives. Each bull that is hit by the bowler removes a life. Once all lives are gone the players swap roles. The winner is the one with the highest score at the end. Liked the video and will give the tips a try. God knows I need too!

Dave awesome videos! Keep making them. Started shooting league last year in October. Manager of the local bar asked me to sub because they were a player short. Turns out I wasn’t too bad after not throwing for over 15 yrs. Needless to say I’m now a permanent team member and I’m hooked! I just got a GranBoard and I love it. Tonight is the first time I decided to watch a video and I am jacked. A lot of what you said makes perfect sense and some of it I had already picked up on my own. But i picked up some good tips and will be watching more….right after I get done incorporating my new knowledge

Wen I was young 17yr old lad I use to play darts to get in with my baby moms dad so I cud date her which I achieved . I became very good at it to which point I was beating really good players I played for a pub for awhile .. then time took its toll I had kids work and all that so darts became distance from me I new I was good and wish I new how I cud get to be champion as I think we'll no I cud be a threat to sum over them any advice

Hi, do you think it makes a difference how many times you bring your arm back, before letting go of the dart , like in snooker or pool, players feather the cue back and forth different amounts l, depending on the player?
Do you have any videos where you address speed of the throw and if you aim at the target or a little above it, to drop onto the target?

Did you say a 33 was a good average in X01? I’m new to darts but that seems really low. Like just zero average turns due to being unable to close out. Or am I mistaken. Anyways, good vid!
A proper dart 🎯 oche will help loads. Tape is anti trip hazard but I’m sure you could install a magnetic one that can be removed

Thank you Iron , IV been throwing darts approx, 3 months, I really thought I was going to quit maybe a month ago, but I didn't my dart family tells me I'm getting better but the best thing that I love about my dart family, is from day one of throwing with them they were all forthcoming, friendly, an let me know that it wasn't so much as winning it was about having fun
Im a 69 yr old woman. I started playing darts at 4 yrs old when my husband died..it was great therapy. 17 yrs ago i moved and just started playing again recently. I was pretty good when i was younger but i suck now. So i watched your video and it was really enlightening. My problem is arcing the dart..i hate doing it but cant make it stop. Can you suggest an excercise that will end the arcing?
This video was awesome! I am in an amateur league for the first time, throwing regularly for about a month and it's been so fun. It's really cool to be able focus more on it and practice and meet new people. I really liked the positive attitude section of this video.
I love throwing darts we play darts for shots 😂😂. In 301 the last person out of 100 has to take a shot, when the game ends the person with the highest number takes a shot
