  1. I watched all the games this year and it is obvious they are not lucky the puck does not bounce our way its just ridiculous just cant believe it i have never seen a team work so hard and not geting the result so many missed chances is out of this world need to stop this curse

  2. Jason, best of luck with today’s treatment. We all appreciate the time you take to do these segments and your thoughts and opinions on the best team in the NHL (maybe not in the standings but in our hearts) the Philadelphia Flyers ! Stay strong, stay positive and know we are all praying πŸ™for you !

  3. A top 3 pick (a centre or defenseman) would be a great accomplishment for the team this year, maybe a free agency signing, another trade and to solidify their goaltending.

  4. 15:42….I don't think Sanheim was scratched in his hometown (Winnipeg).
I remember Brink being scratched in Minnesota though.
    Regardless, Tort's is gone now.

  5. Torts can take this off his players all he wants.
This team is terrible, the coaching is terrible, no PP AT ALL.
    And Torts benches York??
    It's not working.
This is gonna be a rebuild on top of a rebuild.
    50 years, Jason.
    50 years.
I'm not the expert and I can't tell you what the answer is.
That's what the Flyers brass is there for.
Personally I think Torts has to go. (but what do I know?)
    He sounds like he's defeated.
    Or is it me?

    Keep kicking cancer's ass, btw.

  6. I will tell you will happen now. New coach, players somewhat relieved, they will play better (Overachieving) and go nowhere without real talent.

  7. You got this Jason.
    God Bless you Brother πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
The Flyers are the joke of the NHL .
    They have no plan.

  8. Hi Jason, stay strong for the fight!! HEY MR. TORTORELLA IS GONE!!! No matter how you twist and turn it, I don't think that was a good idea from DB, in the middle of a rebuild… it's a shame it ended this way… all the best Jason 🀘 πŸ’

  9. Thanks for taking the time to post the video.
Here's to hoping that your treatment goes well, and achieves the desired affects.

  10. Hope your treatment went well, keep throwing fists in that general direction!

So now Torts is gone… I have been thinking about where we are, what "rebuild" actually means, and then you look at a team like the Canadians with their core, prospects, talent and I'm like…… what are we doing? Is this going to take 3+ more years? We barely have any major pieces and are firing the coach with <10 games left. By the time we get the assets we need, many core guys will be pushing 30 or higher. I don't think a couple drafts can fix what is wrong and it is making me wonder what the realistic timeline for this rebuild even is. You want to build a strong org to draw free agents, but who wants to come to a team that is 4th from last and has their coach (now fired) openly admitting he doesn't want to coach in this situation?!

  11. Hey Jason, Good luck today with the treatment. Your effort, passion, and dedication to this is amazing and something we all greatly appreciate. I have a quick question regarding the end of the season (and the past 24 hours with Torts's firing): Where do the Flyers go from here? Torts, regardless of what everyone says, got his players, rookies or vets, to buy in on his system. How can they find someone to cultivate the same culture/work ethic? Do they look internally for someone who may have been involved in this process or externally to the revolving door of coaches? I don't see how an external hire could possibly emulate the grit and drive Torts had, but is that necessary? Maybe it's time for a new, freer approach to generate offense, which was definitely lacking. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you're feeling better!

  12. The players have to be accountable.
Your highest paid players are expected to lead the team but for the Flyers this doesn't seem to be the case.
TK, Tippett, York, Coots, Sanhime and Cates have taken a step backwards from last srason.

  13. Philly has to be the most poorly run team in the league. The coach never had a chance and the two bozos(ex-hocky players) running the team area joke. This team will continue to be bad for the next few years. I feel sorry for the players and the fans.

  14. I love that you encouraged Jared to keep writing! I have enjoyed his emails that you've shared, so I agree with your encouragement. I hope this treatment goes well for you. Keep on kicking cancer's ass. Happy birthday on Sunday!
