The Minnesota Wild dropped their second straight game as they lost to the Vegas Golden Knights by a score of 5-1. The Wild fell behind 1-0 in the 1st period on Jack Eichel’s 24th goal of the season. Brett Howden made it 2-0 in the 2nd on his 20th goal. Marcus Johansson scored to cut the deficit to 2-1, but Jack Eichel scored his 2nd of the game, Tanner Pearson scored an empty netter, and Eichel scored again to complete the hat trick. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 32 of 36 shots for the Wild, but key players were invisible once again, as the Wild couldn’t convert on their lone Power Play opportunity, and gave up a Power Play goal to the Golden Knights. The Wild now have just a 2 point lead over St. Louis for the 1st Wild Card spot. The Wild host Washington on Thursday for their next game.

Это первая серьёзная травма Кирилла, он был расстроенный! Без Капризова Болди и Росси стали невидимые и утратили красивую игру ! Мы ждём Капризова , но здоровье дороже ! КОМАНДА ВООБЩЕ перестали забивать и часто удаляться ! Жалко, что так получилось

I still think the Wild eek their way into the playoffs and get obliterated in 4 games round 1.
This team is toast both now and long term. I am seriously questioning the ability of the Wild to not find but develop talent. The lack of scoring depth the Wild have is historically bad! Do we really think plugging in 2 or 3 new players next year will solve this as long as BG is the GM and Hynes is the coach? The Wild don't play at the net, they pass up shots consistently for making extra passes, when they do shoot they miss the net by 5 ft, and all they know is dump and chase. Oh and the special teams is also abysmal. We could stick Buium, Jirichek, Yurov and Ohgren on this team next year it's still going to suck as long as our current GM and coach are here. For the love of God please overhaul your front office and coaching staff!
Seth my recommendation for a future show is a breakdown on the "Bright Future" we apparently have. Right now this promising future looks like fools gold to me. Wont that be the ultimate kick in the nuts for Wild fans being told we have the top 5 farm system for multiple years only for it to be fake.

Shoulda kept Kushki, he's lighting it up in Boston because the club is utilizing his strengths. We need goals boys!!! You can't just hit the goalie in the chest every time. Wild ❤ forever!
To be fair: 5' to the end the Wild were 2-1 with the equalizer taken (rightfully) away. Then they gave away a PP due to the usual suspect, and that was it. Fleury (I hate to say) had possibly his worst game ever. Last autumn, with a game like this they would have gone to overtime or even won and everyone would have been happy. Fact is, the forwards are mediocre at best, and without Kaprizov and Eck (especially the latter) they are just not good enough for the playoffs. Which, rest assured, they are not going yo make. Final remark: Haynes' shuffling lines was OK at first, at this time of the season there should be automatic patterns that (unfortunately) do not grow overnight among players who have almost never played together.
