The goaltending has been horrible!!! An absolute joke. Why does Kim Dillabaugh continue to be the goaltending coach for the Flyers when they've underperformed EVERY year-after-year? Granted, it might be time to move on form Torts, but the goaltending is absolutely pathetic. Dillabaugh has added absolutely NOTHING to improve ANY goalie the Flyers have had in the past 5 years. Why is HE still employed? I've never, ever seen a goaltending coach with zero success holding the job for so long.
Philly has to be the most poorly run team in the league. The coach never had a chance and the two bozos(ex-hocky players) running the team area joke. This team will continue to be bad for the next few years. I feel sorry for the players and the fans.
I thought everything Tortorella did and said was aligned with a rebuild. I don't think he meant that comment in the way it has been taken by the public. I took it as him stating he doesn't need to learn how to coach at this point in the season. He wasn't saying he didn't want to coach this team. The GM repeatedly praised Coach Tortorella in the press conference but also cited a need to be a playoff contender while still stating they are in a rebuild and it's expected they won't be good. There were many contradictions in that press conference. Are you willing to embrace a rebuid and take your lumps or not? Removing the head coach right now makes me think the commitment to a real rebuild is beginning to fade. Everybody wants to win, and the Flyers may only be seeing the beginning of more cuts if they aren't staying committed to their coach. It was a foolish move. It would have been better to let coach finish out the season.

Let's be honest John deserves to coach a better team at this stage in his career. NYR needs you back TORTS!
there was not much for him to work with in Philly, sorry
They been should have fired him. He was a terrible fit for a rebuilding team

Look at the team. Dreadful GM. They will not win another game this year, watch.
