Torts' firing inspired the Flyers
Thanks Josh.
Just mad at myself for being too late to put money on us losing tonight. With the way we've been playing, as soon as I heard Torts was fired I knew we weren't gonna win this game.
I will place money on the flyers taking the final wildcard spot. Mark these words.
I thought they had enough good draft choices——no such thing as playoffs———against hurricanes another licking coming
We should have left hudson in laval all season and accepted another top 5 draft pick. Poor development
We slept for 2 periods and we woke up in 3rd. I think it was an interference as well.
I understand it was a bad crease call, but they still won by 2 goals. I love the HABS but they just didn't have it tonight. Let's go Friday night !!!
Mario lemiu 😂❤
Didn't see the game, but 12 goals against in 2 games doesn't show a playoff team.
We suck again.
Dobes couldn't push off,he hit his foot so couldn't plant it then skate behind Dobes he couldn't push off,and knocked the wind right out of Montreals sail when refs made bad call..Habs are frustrated from stupid calls from refs
They didn't deserve even 1 pt. First period was sloppier than a beer league game. Could have been 5-1 Philly after twenty minutes. Awful.
I'm a die hard habs fan since birth but interference or not we didn't deserve this win. If we want to make the playoffs we NEED to play better in the first period as It dictates the following two periods. GO HABS GOOO
Josh, nice job staying positive. Savard is a machine, but like all equipment, it needs to be replaced. Also, how about a day off off for Matheson soon. This game was filled with mental gaffs.
Anyway, love the channel.
Solo Josh is a fave.
Your content is hilariously awful. Made for mass consumption by the casual fan.
we need to start the period off right if we do then there a chance but too many times this year were we start off flatfooted
Unacceptable that after 3 straight games where we had a bad start, we leave the other team's best player all alone for a goal while there's not even 2 minutes played in this game.
At least 4 consecutive games coach Marty has NOT had his team prepared to START the game – games they need to win to clinch a playoff spot. Much like his players MSL is showing his inexperience as a head coach. Suzuki asked his GM not to trade guys at the deadline and this is how his team is showing their gratitude. It's one thing to lose games but repeatedly being unprepared to start games and putting in an inconsistent effort (in must win games) is inexcusable. Hope Kent Hughes learned a lesson and hope Suzuki never makes another request like this moving forward.
Jesus H. Christ, that was like watching the Red Army playing a high school girls team. Bloody embarrassing, to say the least. The Hab's defensemen were out of position more than they were in position. Felt bad for Dobes with that clown show going on in front of him. They better smarten up or else get the golf clubs ready.
Forrester goal likely would have stood as not sufficient to be considered interference and they lost the challenge on it. The Habs blew coverage a lot again. Dobes likely had a chance to stop the 2nd, 5th, and 6th goal, especially the 2nd and 6th (for some reason would think a sniper like Michkov was going to pass, and it made an easy 5-hole goal). These slow starts and spotting the opponent a lead constantly are going to kill the team at this rate. The last defenseman to reach 50 assists in their rookie season listed in the summary as Gary Suter (1985-86).
Btw, the Rangers are not playing tonight…lol
Marty overplays Monty until Monty sucks…..and then still plays him…..Dobes hasn't played in too long and not helped by defence.
Matheson has been overplayed by Marty….
These guys are not machines
Marty doesn't get it
Sugar coat it all you want, goaltending sucks. MSL not smart enough to pull a goalie in the FIRST PERIOD.
I said it before, and I say it again: what's this obsession with making the playoffs? We're not there yet as a team. Everybody knew that from the start, and the fact that we're even in contention is rather marvellous and totally unexpected. This team isn't mature enough yet, and we all know it. If we make the playoffs, great. If not, well, right on schedule.
The only bright spot is the teams behind us are really bad
The games are rigged to a certain degree just to make the final stretch look very interesting
winning streak loosing streak winning streak loosing streak arrrrrrrrrrrrr were in trouble
There's "Something Strange" in the neighbourhood (the title reminds me of Ghostbusters) Anyways, the Habs are playing on back-to-back nights. They are on the road again vs. the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canadiens can ill afford to give up more than 5 goals to the opposition in tonight's game. Their lack of experience going down the stretch is beginning to show. This is the time for the team to step it up and win, instead of losing these key games. Each 2 points in all 11 remaining games are vitally important. Some of the Habs stars like Cole Caufield have got to score, or even better, provide a multi-goal game. The onus is on players like Gallagher, Evans, Matheson, Armia, Anderson, Savard and last but not least, their captain – Nick Suzuki.
Sorry but they re not making the playoffs playing like this
its the gordon , hughs, MLS shit show…. when you have savard , mathison, jackass all trying to block shots instead of playing the puck or body u r doomed !!!! coaching & the caption & the coach r at fault for these bad starts every game..
I'm sorry, but since the floater, non-hitter, no effort Josua Roy has joined the team we have been losing. He does not get involved in any physical play whatsoever. The two goals he got were not from effort they were from being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time to clean up rebounds. His "soft" play seems to be contagious. Keep the faith! GO HABS GO!
