  1. Torts would do really well in Edmonton. The Oilers have demonstrated the talent and the drive to win the big prize. They just need a coach with a strong style to give them the attitude and hunger. Tortorella is the man. 'Wish they would hire him now.

  2. Im sick of listening to Torteralla after every time he is fired and all the what ifs. The guy doesn’t mesh with the players of today’s game and that is ok. He is a good coach but the game seems to have passed him by.

  3. Torts is a coach that has a short expiry date anyway. His style is good in the short term for motivation but gets old quickly. They team has had enough of him. His comments were basically to get himself out of this situation.

  4. With Tortorella the Flyers moving back for 5 next years! And a stupidfirst round pick Jett Luchankp!!!😢😢😢 And the next one is probably Daniel Brière , but I have no confidence on his guy as General Manager. Hockey change in 2025. The Flyers managed then 1970-1980!!!

  5. Philly has to be the most poorly run team in the league. The coach never had a chance and the two bozos(ex-hocky players) running the team area joke. This team will continue to be bad for the next few years. I feel sorry for the players and the fans.

  6. The Flyers should have waited until the end of the season, because it puts someone into an impossible situation of being a very temporary interim head coach. Who wants to coach 9 games, just to be fired? Unless they are going to drop in a new permanent head coach now, the management is throwing the whole team under the bus.

  7. Flyer management threw the towel in at the Deadline, thats what Torts meant about coaching this team, wake up folls, i know more flyers fans wanted him there then management did

  8. Well who ever they eventually bring in is going to have their work cut out for them. Alot of work to get this team competitive again.

  9. There is such thing as quiet quitting in hockey too.. if they don't like the coach this generation will just stick to bare minimum… Until the coach gets ejected… It's a thing.

  10. Someone please answer this? How does this man bounce from team to team. Never helping out or destroying long enough until hes kicked to the curb. Then then another team picks him up. Total politics and who you know in this NHL. Ted Nolan!! never got another chance or others for that matter. Good ol torts has nine lives!!! cheers!

  11. Makes no difference, as Flyers remain segregated. Still loyal also to the late Mr Snider, Flyers are no where. Phillies to join the Flyers who are no where and with a bloated roster of over priced mid level players. Go Eagles as Sixers are also no where, two main players over paid and both always injured, getting oldER. Go Eagles. Howie Roseman is the best executive in all sports, especially amongst Philadelphia pro sports

  12. Torts is an easy target… how about the void of talent up and down that roster… like I get they’re in a rebuild… but how much is their lack of competitiveness on Danny Briere? How about Keith Jones?? What, those two get an endlessly long leash? Like they hired Torts – what did they expect with Torts at the helm of a rebuilding team? This was bound to happen. This is on the front office as much as it’s on Torts.

  13. Craig was so proud of his corny "Every coach has an expiry date.. his was now" line that he had to get it in there twice!!! 😂 And BOTH times Geno shrugged it of with a "yeah"
