I get that the horrible interference call is the headline from this game and fans should feel like they were robbed…because they were. That being said the real story of this game is Noah Dobson getting beat not once..but twice..one on one, if the old man throws a ton of money and term at him in the off-season to me that is ABSOLUTE proof of insanity. Noah Dobson is GARBAGE!
I think we can all agree that this was a garbage call. But can we also agree that the islanders put themselves in a situation that they had to rely on an overturned goalie interference goal to win the game? A game in which they blew two leads to a team that had lost seven in a row. This team does not deserve to be in the playoffs, and if it does somehow make it in, they certainly look like a first round bounce out. I can't wait for this season to be over.
And a lot of fans agree with me as the game was 3000 short of a sellout. Add in the no-shows and I'll bet they were probably 5000 empty seats at that game last night.
And on a sidenote, I know it will never happen, but Dobson has to go. I simply cannot watch him play hockey anymore.

The story is they haven't been in a playoff position since november 19. Again, who exactly do you think this team is gonna beat?
1st 2 Columbus goals would of been deflected into the netting by just about any other defenseman in the league.

The shot from the point was already coming in before Elvis had a chance to reset.
It’s a tough call, but ask two simple questions-
Was contact initiated (in the crease) by attacking player- YES
Did the goalie have ample time to reset?- No.
Therefore no goal.
