I can't believe you actually believed the cookie story that LeBron shared with his teammate jokingly. From that point on, I just take what you say with a grain of salt. Don't take it wrong because I love this show with all your deeper insights to salary structures, basketball itself, and other things. I have been a Heat fan since 1988, but I really didn't know the inner workings of the NBA and / or particular defenses and offenses that I have learned from you. Brandon, Wes, and David have nothing over you. Keep up the great work!

Mmm 🤔, I’m thinking what about if we get Cooper F? You gonna come out saying oh Pat you’re God and things like that. There’s no a perfect boss or company out there what make you think that there’s a perfect team? Ppl make mistakes and do the wrong thing all the time, but Pat has made this franchise relevant… look at Orlando 0 championships..New Orleans 0, Memphis 0, Dallas 1 (thanks to MIA), Charlotte 0, maybe I missing 1 or 2 more. Yeah, it could have been better YES, but it is not… I still think that Pat needs to move on and retire bcs of his age, not bcs lack of knowledge or anything else

No you're wrong Jimmy got treated better than them and he was disgruntled and he's done that everywhere he's not in the same class as them because he doesn't handle herself the same way and what he got last night is what he deserves and I'm glad we gave it to him that's what he needed he's been talking like that you can blame Pat Riley maybe 40% for not getting him help but you got to put the other 60 on Jimmy.
A lot of NBA would love to have what Miami has done. How many losing seasons had Miami had since Pat Riley took over the Heat in 95. Look at other franchises tanking yearly for picks. No boss is perfect. Not every employee is going to be enamored with there boss. Tim Duncan didnt sign with the Magic when they signed TMac and Grant Hill because his wide couldn't fly with the team. So he ended up staying with the Spurs. For the infamous chocolate chip incident whats being driven to shed a negative light on Riley is him denying Lebron cookies. Obviously the cookies were used to send a big message about other things that LJ was doing that was rubbing management the wrong way.
Love the show but I disagree with you take! Just my opinion! To put all the blame on Pat but give Spo a pass is ridiculous! Now for majority of the league they dont have the cashshay or resume that Riley does so somebody of his stature maybe be intimidating to some organizations but Riley has been around and he has no problem in not folding. He has DWade on board and doesnt allow his crew to fly, how would that look if he lets LJ start to dictate stuff. I think we can criticize Riley and thenorganization for a lot but we know LJ was going to leave anyway. The heat organization made some concessions and LJ wanted the HEAT to bend over. An organization tha made you ah champion…Idon't care how great you are he wasnt a champion until he reached Miami. I would not want my team President to ask LJ how high to jump. This is the same dude who left the organization (CAVS) the 1st time after they heard his cries and made the practice facility closer to his house just to please him and he did what he wanted. All of your strife is obsessive like 2011 Finals didnt happen. What that team had to do even if you are who the noise says you are your career would be regarded differently.

I agree with you tho. Pat's obsession with "Heat Culture" like how can you even tell if someone is "Heat Cultured" or not if you haven't spent time with them. Maybe the drive and rules that you impose is what they need to elevate but you're denying talent because they're not "heat Cultured" is so stupid.
The examples of Shaq, Chris Bosh, Tim Hardway, was pure the heat. When you son't getbwhat you want you become Salty. Shaq has gone on the record plenty of times to say he became problematic and he caused the situation. He too was declining and was not showing a level of professionalism and that spiraled the way it did. The only person Riles really got it all wrong was DWade. And they still try to patch that up but everyone else I feel wanted bully a situation and when it no longer served them it became a Pat Riley thing. Why is always Pat Riley fault that he wont let players call shots on how the team should be ran. LJ is the type you give him a inch and wants square root it. Anthony you employee of the month and as a result you wanna be able to bring your GF and homebody to work and chill on the work premises during your breaks abd lunch and if not you feel your boss is doing boss things by not be current with the times. Like be forreal. Heat fans forget it was Goran and Bam really leading the squad during thag bubble playoff run. You got Herro snarl and Bam's rim bloxk of JT in the ECF. All media remembers is Jimmy hung over in exhaustion. We have 2023 1st Rd elite play my Jimmy and 2022 Elite plat 1st Rd play from him vs the Bucks. And that short 3 pt attempt at the buzzard in ECF G7 vs the Celtics. An amazing G6 play as well on the road in Boston. Games 2-5 he played like regular season Jimmy. So his tenure here and play are a couple of huge moments in playoff play but the core and basics of what matters to the organization he had no cares for and as heat fans we KNOW its frowned upon….and we despised it too but how Jimmy left is soley Pat's fault. He didnt care about the team and Pat is driving stars away. I wonder what stars are doing or not doing to cause this rift… i wish emotjons will be taking out in assessing ultimately what the matter is.
I hate to say this but even the Warriors have more of a winning culture even after the KD era was over they were able to win a champion Heat in the other hand is being held back because of Pat's old ways of running the team but in the end this all an ego issue Miami is known for it's party scene not for military training at this point Heat Culture is just a cult of whackos if we had a winning culture Heat would of won right after the Lebron era and have more rings than Warriors

We need to get rid of Duncan and Terry. Those are really bad contracts. They make what an all star would make. I think it would make a world of difference if we had a player that was worth $40 million in place of Duncan and Terry.

LJ and Klutch said they aint no AD was getting traded but Markief Morris mentioned after the trade on a podcast Lebron reached out requesting he be included in the trade because he wanted him to be on the squad and around him based on prior relationships. AD was a pawn in LJ game plan haha. He wantes Spo gone lmaooo and would have turned the MH out if Riles would have conceded to him like your video says you would do as a President of a team. He mutts organizations and you are big mad that you want to diminsh Riles name as a result. Wade had the biggest offense and he still is able to be objective but he got a taste of the not so great and thats a stain that is forever and we all know and Riles knows too. GSW front office turned a bottom feeding org into a global brand…off the back of their superstar. But they MANAGED and made wise risky moves that paid off in the long run. Bob Myers is gone and Dunlevy making his own moves but it’s consistent. Pat Riley the MAN is not heat culture, that’s a self created philosophy that everyone can achieve and fail at. But that has to change with the times/personal/finances. Being petty and stingy should not be part of any pro sports culture.

Forgive me Dude, but I'm just suggesting that you work on those active listening skills. LeBron explained the cookie thing. Riley didn't walk up to a grown man and take away his purchased cookies. They were being provided to many players by in flight staff on the Miami Heat plane and apparently Pat Riley instructed them to stop. This is the same team that fines you if you are over on your body fat %, fans have lauded this discipline and it's results. Were there any other players who were having weight issues? How is this about Bron individually at all? Yet the rumor started (Riley taking a grown man's cookies) and I think we know who started it.
Could be wrong but back then I remember Pat Riley wasn’t a fan of draft picks and rookies he use to trade them for talent and build a team with veterans. I wonder when was it when it shifted to drafting and developing players.
Shit after hearing that I’d have to say 75 to the front office and 25 to Jimmy. He just wanted to get his last payday and has done a lot for the organization (literally played hurt) and you don’t want to reward that?
