Losing 3 out of the last 4 is not the way to the playoffs. Just saying.
They gave up at the end of the first two periods and started the 3rd the same way.
It's weird to me how reticent coaches are to using the time out. Grenn should have called one in the first as soon as they started playing like broken roombas
Forsy is good at making the 10-bell save… but struggles with the saveables. So frustrating.
What went wrong is we are still playing hamonic at all and forsy sadly has not been the same since his knees and needs to be let go

Why are both goalies struggling so much recently it's almost reminding me of the Murray, Korpi years where it's a guarantee at least 1 garbage goal goes in every game so frustrating. It's also not just the goalies fault I've never seen a team struggle to score with so many grade A chances like the Sens it's crazy the finishing is horrible far too often for a team with the talent they have they gotta figure it out and if the puck isn't going in on a particular night you have to realize that and play lock down defense and they haven't been recently it's like they've lost the B game they had at points this season that they could fall back on to still win they need to get back to a shutdown style when they obviously can't score easy chances consistently. It's really frustrating because the effort is there the details just aren't rn and if they figure that out they are a great team we've seen it. Like that Thompson goal how many times did the Sens have a chance like that and they just miss them or shoot right at the goalies it's a great chance and we rarely see the Sens put those chances away but our opponents do it all the time net front regardless of who is in net
I think JBD will do good with Buffalo and their lack of depth on D. I was so pissed after the loss but the out of town scoreboard made me feel a little better about it.
Why are we all blaming Forsy, Ullmark has been terrible recently too like who cares they both suck since the 4 nations. Merilainen is the best goalie in the franchise and he's sitting in the minors which is wild when both NHL goalies are constantly letting in garbage goals like it's a miracle the Sens have the record they do in March because frankly their goalies have been by far the weakest part of the team for a while now
They have a hard time clearing the puck in their own end. They play around with it too much. Kleven hasn’t looked good lately. Not sure why the coach has such a thing for hamonic. The way it’s going they will give him an extension lol

Park Hamonic and bring up Yakemchuk.Try this line instead on the top,Cozens,Brady,and Zetterlund.That leaves Stuzle,Perron and Batherson for the second line.
Only scored 2 goals against the Sabres.
Perhaps small point but the 4th line seemed to get less ice time than usual.
A think Cozens had 1 SOG btw.
Can't beat the Sabres. Can't beat Montreal. Can't score 5 v 5.

I love GEEROUX. Pinto is probably my favorite current Sen as I've always favored guys like Mike Fisher and Chris Kelly. Vaclav Prospal my first Sens love.
But god damn I love seeing G. He's not that quick anymore but he's just overall smart as frig and is a nice crisp passer and puts himself in the right place at the right time generally speaking. Really has a top level understanding of the game and people on the ice around him.

They are trying to get Hamonic 900 games. And if that costs the sens a playoff spot, I would toss my jersey on the ice.
Because it proves to me, it’s still an “old boys club.
