What a shame., the guys deserved the win. They are showing such great character for any group of players let alone a young team like this. Still, a point on the road is a point closer to clinching a playoff spot. Gallagher is playing inspired hockey atm like a man possessed. Deffo a Michell Stephens award contender. Thanks guys.
Suzuki's goal was definitely offside. But no point crying over spilled milk. Our Habs played GREAT!!! What guts to come back and at least salvage a point!
We shouldn't blame this loss on Monty. Sure, he's no Sorokin. But he's 6-0-2 since the break…16 of a possible 18 points.
And GALLY!!! OMG!!! He's still the deep soul of this team.
Definitely deserved the two points, but given that the Rangers lost, Jackets only got one point, Sens lost too…that point we came back to earn is a HUGE point!!!!! 😁
The rule is, it must be definitive to be overturned. That was NOT definitive. Also, Montembeault proved he's not the one. Most of the goals were weak, especially the overtime goal.
Suzuki was onside but the main thing I wanna focus on is Monty, his soft ass goals have to stop! Monty is not the answer between the pipes.

Stats mean nothing, everyone said Ils have the worst or one of the worst pp's pk's… And look what happens. That's why we watch sports we never know what will happen, if we did, we would all be Millionaires now. That said the refs were brutal tonight. Big point won but big point loss.
We find out the two-line pass still exists. Gallagher somewhat redeems himself by scoring the tying goals in 3rd after taking two penalties (one leading to an Isles PPG). Too bad it didn't go to shootout, think there would have been good chances there due to the two breakaways Habs had on Sorokin. There was a mention that Bo Horvat does consider Nick Suzuki the most underrated player and a good captain. Apparently the groomsmen at Horvat's wedding were old London Knights teammates Josh Anderson, Max Domi (former Hab), and Chris Tierney (former Hab). Almost like his performance vs the Habs tonight might be to get on Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton's radar.

Susuki was off side when using the replays BUT look at the lost time arguying and reviewing? NHL Betman does not want to bring the over time to 10 min but look at the time they losse reviewing plays? live with human officials they are not perfect and accept the mistakes they can make unless it is more than obvious? The people who critic there jedgement would not do any better. the game is fast.
i think the on ice call should stand for offsides, they want to speed the game up, this challenges should be banned from offsides…. we never had that for years, i just think it should be used for goaltender interference or to challenge a goal itself

Yeah…I'm sorry but Monty is not a real number 1 goalie. Too many bad goals, i swear to god he's giving too many bad goals. He can do the best saves and the worst goals against.

I have been guilty of ragging on Gallagher for the past couple of years in saying this I have to admit the man has played very well for a good part of the season, Nilan mentioned that he changed his off season conditioning program which has helped his cardio. It i was very nice to see him score last night after his Mom had passed earlier that day. Monty was brutal and cost them a point. I don't like their schedule the rest of the way. Saturday through next Friday will determine if they stay in the hunt or fall out of the picture. Dobes should play Saturday.
