Bryson is a good depth defenseman that's cheap and seemingly is well liked and likes it in Buffalo. Do you want them to go spend over $3M on an Erik Johnson again? Or having to spend assets on a Riley Stillman mid season again when injuries happen? Finding cheap and good defensemen is not a menial task for the Sabres. This is a good player to keep around and the sooner they got it done the better.
