We've all seen AM34 literally elbow Rask in the helmet and the goal counted in the playoffs. There is no rational argument that can be had. The rules matter until they don't unless the ref thinks they really matter then anything is against the rule.

Adams take on the goalie interference js so very wrong. You want a different rule then. Which is not the conversation. Jesse is right here. Again just imagine this is the goal that wins the cup against the Leafs. There no way you are saying what you are saying. Skate collision happens, a quick shove happens a goal happens all under 2.5 seconds. Thatās pretty fast. Itās part of the same play. If a shot happens and goes wide and rings around the boards and another play starts to develop then sure a goal is fine but this was the right call.

Iām not as high on that Chychrun contract.
I think thereās a world where heās worth that money (especially with the rising cap), but when the best case is fair value itās a risk.
The Caps have been on a PDO bender all year. Pretty much everyone is having a breakout season or career year. Chychrun himself is nearly double his career shooting percentage.
Heās also getting extremly favourable deployment by Carbery (most offensive zone starts among Cap Dmen) and is played away from teams top guys. When you have to shelter a guy that much is he really worth legit 1D money? I just see a world where their PDO regresses next year, his sh% normalizes and heās back to his usual self and Thompson isnāt covering for his defensive shortcomings.
The Caps are a good team and should remain good, but when heās the Caps Dman with the lowest xGF% and HDCF% itās worth pointing out.
