There was a controversial call in the Columbus Blue Jackets–New York Islanders game the other night. Late in the third period, it looked like Kyle Palmieri had given the Islanders a 4-3 lead, but after video review in Toronto, the goal was overturned. The Islanders went on to lose in a shootout, costing them a crucial point, while Columbus—trailing them in the playoff race—gained two valuable points. #hockey #nhl #icehockey

Good goal. Bad job by Toronto. Palmieri's' skates are outside the crease. Goalie pushes him away. Toronto saying there was nothing conclusive either way is a cop out.
Terrible call….Isles got screwed. Palmieri is outside the crease, and the goalie initiated contact
