It seems that not enough has been said about the Winnipeg Jet`s coaches first Rick Bowness and now Scott Arniel. The Jets were a group of individual players who under Paul Maurice were a awful team. Paul quit the Jets in December of 2021 and Bowness took over for the 2022 2023 season. The Jets went the entire season with no captain and the process of making a true TEAM began. I won`t go into all the details but the Jets really believe in themselves and play for each other.
I’m literally tearing up. It’s been a LONG run with this bunch. I remember my dad and godfather smoking cigarettes as we watched the Avco Cup from the 3rd deck at Winnipeg Arena.

Hope they go all the way! This team has played like no other team since coming back in 2011 they have gelled so well! Let’s gooooooo Jets!!

It will be interesting to see if the Jets end up being the only team to go undefeated against the Capitals during the regular season. The only other teams to be still in the running (for this honor) are the Wild and the Hawks as they've each won their first game (against the Caps) and have one game yet to be played.
