This was a special night for Tyler Myers and his family. Well deserved for a guy who spent a lot of time with the canucks getting roasted by the fans/media. The last 2 years he’s played the best hockey of his career and just feels like this beautiful moment for a local guy.

I remembered back when Canucks fans were trying to run him out of town because of his boneheaded plays, taking stupid penalties, and doesn't use his 6'6 frame to play like a big D-man. But oh boy what a turnaround after Boudreau and Tocchet showed up.
I’ve seen quite a few silver stick presentations over the years but this has to be my favourite. Myers seems like a really great guy and he has come into his own as a great defenceman for our team
Wasn’t a bad contract when he signed it. He was dominant and young and totally worth the 6M cap hit at that time. People were taunting cuz they just don’t understand how term, contract length and the cap works in the NHL. All they could see was a guy not worth 6M at the end of a long contract. Wait until the Canucks need to buy out Miller’s contract.

its not that we did not like him we wanted to show him he can play better then he was if we did that then it means we cared and wanted him to get back on his feet and he did
Why Myers came along way. Miller and Myers really earned respect of Canuck fans. Who are ruthless. Now BB also got shit but don’t think people realize he is long time Canuck and won’t be leaving until the Canucks go to the ship. Hughes and Demko are winners, they got the supporting cast.
