As a capitals fan I see this as a complete win, they dominated 5 on 5 for a majority of the game and were very physical. So what if Winnipeg wins it on a Mickey Mouse 3 on 3. Because playoff overtime is 5 on 5, and had this game gone to 5 on 5 overtime it would have been a different story. (Or if protas doesn’t hit the post after beating hellebuyck clean in OT, and if you really want to get nit picky Tom Wilson was about half a second away from blocking Ehlers shot in overtime)
