The Winnipeg Jets and Detroit Red Wings get a little rough in their game as Dustin Byfuglien throws a hit that is outdonw by Darren Helm moments later.

  1. Wow. Blind announcer. I may be biased but I will always say John Forslund of the Hurricanes broadcast as well as some national,is the very best in the business😐. Here, I see absolutely no contact with the head. At all.

  2. I think helm had two hits on that play. Buff didn't even move and helm skated right into him.

  3. Helm literally ran in byfuglien. Where can I apply to be a hockey color commentator for FOX.

  4. I love Mickey Redmond since his playing days. I love he said we need more hate in the game. But Buffs hit on Helm looked more to the chest and Darren's head snapped back. Really if you got hit by 260+ lbs your head would snap back. No hit to the chin to me.

  5. There nothing wrong with that hit. He did catch a bit of head but it wasn't the primary point of contact so it legal as per NHL rules. In college or USA hockey this would be illegal because no head contact is allowed.

  6. Look, I love Darren Helm, even have his jersey, but that was a clean Buff on him, and his hit on Tanev was illegal, but you gotta find a way to vent that frustration somehow.
