Good game especially for second line , but where has Matthews’s been last few games since that huge game he had ? Obviously he’s hurt , they need to rest him soon and start having him miss some games.

U hope the 3rd line can contribute a bit offensively. And the 4th line needs to just play hard and keep the play in the offensive zone
Top 2 lines need to carry the offense.
Defense needs to b a bit above average
Goaltending needs to very good.

Hi guys . Love ya . About the 3rd line. I'll say it for the 4-5 th time ; Steeves should be up here not on the Marlies. The 3rd line would then be Steeves – Laughton – Domi . Robertson competes like hell, but he is not an NHL player. A 4th line of Lorentz- Kampf – Jarnkrok works . I'm not an OEL fan.

Respectfully I disagree with Mr. McKee regarding his opinion that an assist shouldn't be rewarded for a puck off the skate. Very often the third pass on a goal is a key play so how about if every player involved in a goal is rewarded a point, it'd be fun to hear the annoncer say "goal scored by Matthews assisted by Marner, Knies, Rielly, Carlo and Woll." Goaltenders would rack up a lot more points, the NHL could create a scoring leader trophy for goalies, call it The Fuhr Award.
