Gretzky (as an Oiler) used to lift the players around him and his good spirits created a real team atmosphere. I don’t see McD or Drai do that that much. In fact, they are still crabby and difficult to play with, and quite selfish too, as can be seen by the way they always stay out way, way too long during power plays and in overtime.
Skinner didn't deserve all the love all year long. He wasn't good for the first half but he does deserve love over the last month or two as he's upped his game.
