Lyon playing like he needs a new nhl contact. Not a lot of shots on him but good saves. Hopefully we keep him around as a decent backup for cheap.

I was at this game. 35-40% of the fans were Wings fans. Great game. Lyon made some amazing saves. First game I’ve been to in 16 years. Worth the money, especially at the end when we scored a bunch of goals.
On a side note, I was explaining a couple Utah fans what a Powerplay was and how many periods there are. Interesting stuff
Was worried with the little shots on goal at the start but the lads got er done.
It seems no matter where you go, there will be Redwings fans there, and not just a few. During the game against the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas, it seemed there were more Redwings Jerseys in the audience, and they were pretty vocal. I’d hate to play on a team that has little or no support from the community.

Wings look sloppy offensive wise, 5 shots going into the 3rd period will not help you against the Avs or moving forward. Lucky bounce goals by Kasper and Watson.
Debrincat has been playing so damn hard lately! He wants to make the playoffs.
Kind of makes me wonder if the rumors about Kane leaving in the offseason are maybe true and he knows something about it. Hopefully we can finish strong either way.

Too bad the NHL channel never uses Detroits broadcast. I was just watching their video of this game and they didn't include anything on Mrazicks injury, showing their anti-Wings bias.
Wings started out with 100% of shots scoring. Fell to 67% after 3 shots. All the way down to a paltry 36% by the end of the game!
