Trent Frederic on the Move?

Trent Frederic on the Move?

  1. Regarding Frederick….him being hurt currently, but expected back could potentially be a benefit. I'm not entirely sure how the salary caps works for trading people on IR. If the Bruins were to place him on LTIR and trade him; the team they are trading him to could leave him on LTIR until the playoffs start, where his salary wouldn't count. He could get the full Mark Stone treatment. Highly unlikely that happens, just fun to think that its a possibility. Could potentially allow him to get traded to a teams that are right up against the cap if he stays on LTIR until the end of the regular season

  2. did or do the Bruins ever look into non calls with the league? regarding the hit to frederic (elbow to the head) causing the injury.
as far as the trade goes if you can get something for him by all means trade him he may do better with a change of scenery.
Brazeau would be a regretable trade as seen in the past with other players. they have a tendancy to excel once traded, which leads to the questions of why and how does this happen more often than not?

  3. Selfishly I hope they keep him, sign him for dirt cheap and he rebounds back to a 40+ point physical player, but business is business and I understand you can’t run $1 billion sports franchise off emotions 😂😭. It will be tough if the injury drops his stock even lower and they end up moving him for almost nothing just to gain the cap space…real tough for me I’m a big fan of Fred even though he’s has a bad year, but team is in that bad of a spot so I’m prepared for the worst

  4. always love your take and news on the bruins. Keep up the great work. hopefully next season will be better.

  5. I'd say, it's time to cut bait on Brazeau
Freddie? I was hoping he'd be something else, but, we have two years of seeing that, he is what he is. He's not going to be a big bad bruin.
Poitras's injury was NOT a nefarious thing. It was one of those hockey plays that happen. It's a fast, big hard game

  6. Braz needs to go. He's been just a useless lump the last half of the season.
Georgii is up to showcase his stuff for a future trade.

  7. I Don’t Want The Boston Bruins To Trade Frederic,Brazeau Or Anyone On The Roster I Would Rather Trade Minor Leaguers And Picks To Get Better This Season.

I Also Think That Getting Rid Of Your Good Players Makes Your Team Worse and Plus We Are Just 2 Points Back Of A Playoff Spot.

  8. Always like Trent Frederic, tough kid not sure what they can get for him? Boston needs as many picks as they can get. I wish Frederic much success!

  9. After the loss to the Leafs and watching them play, I really think the team is simply a head case… they looked better for 2 periods.. but coaching has no idea how to consistently have the team focus and play NHL level hockey. I think we could potentially re-sign Fredirik for way less now.. as of now i doubt he will give enough return to even bother with the paperwork. Sell if there is interest, but stay pat if it is for nothing.

  10. Firstly, I'm glad Poitras is OK. He could've been killed on that play. What Fredric is looking for? 1.5×3? 2×3? Or north of that. He hasn't had a great season but are we gonna let them go for a third rounder as opposed to pay him 2 million a year?

  11. if you could get some fooll team to give you a first or even 2nd round pick, a first would be way better.frederick was a huge reach like beecher and is having a crappy year-do it!we need all these picks to rebuild this fallen ship as sweeney did all this damage and needs to be fired along with neely and the scouts.get someone ,a great GM like sam plooack or bill torrey who know what they're doing!ENOUGH!!!

  12. In a word: Useless
    Major housecleaning needed including management.
Signing guys off Waivers, to PTO's, playing pingpong with Providence with players.
    Nothing is jelling.

  13. Thanks for the update Court.
    I got nothing…
It's all been said 12 times

I'm avoiding watching the last 10 minutes of the Pittsburgh game because we're winning.
    I'm scared to watch!

I'll watch the last 10 minutes on demand.

  14. every ignorant bruin fan think all their players are worth a 1st or 2nd round pick. every bruin like marchand will only get you mid round picks. braindead bruins.

  15. The kid can given the chance has potential to be a 20 goal scorer. He protects the puck well and he is not afraid to get in the dirty areas. I see more up than down with him.

  16. As long as they don't make anything worse at the trade deadline, I can live with it. We are at least a year, probably two, past when they should have started this overhaul. In the long run the Bruins overachieving last year is going to hurt.

  17. I was one of the people that wanted to see Merkulov given a chance but I gotta say he has not looked good. Looks like an AHL player to me. Viel however has brought some energy.
