  1. ISLES GET NO nhl favouritism. Just not gonna happen. Blame the sp, teams again and pp that gave up sh goal that tied game and isle inability to hold a third period lead-again-and settling for yet another ot game that resulted in a shoot out loser. pt. Better question is why can't isles hold a lead in third and with 7 d men in game? 34 was another roy 'reach' up front because 34 is like a forward playing on back end. Is it age, system, lack of effort, or just a lack of game breakers up front that could break a game open when a team closes in on a lead? Oh well 2 pts. fkd away last two games that would have put isles in a w c spot instead of sitting a pt. out after loser pt. game. 2 pts. that could keep isles out of playoffs. This team should be making plans for mckenna '26, not fishing for 8th again. That's the guy you lose for. That's why you are gonna see some ugly hockey next season as teams go into tank mode. Pens may want to get in on it again.

  2. Gil, that had to be one of the worst calls I’ve seen in a while…. especially given the circumstances with 8 seconds left. How do you make a call like that to change the outcome of the game. The league should be ashamed.

  3. It should never have come down to overturning a goalie interference call. For the third consecutive game, they blew a third period lead and now have left three points on the table in those games.

Will someone explain to me why Patrick Roy decided to use Anthony Duclair as his first shootout participant?

  4. The Islanders were clearly robbed!
The Columbus goalie had initiated contact with Palmieri and had more than enough time to reset himself!
The NHL board of governors and the leagues on-ice officials need to get together during this off-season to establish a definitive set of criteria for what does and what does not constitute goaltender interference!

  5. I agree they got robbed, but this team blew the game. In the third it looked like they were playing with cement in their skates.
