  1. I really hope Demko can gain his health back, not just for the team but for himself. It's been almost a decade now that I had to finally stop playing goal because of bad knees and every single winter I still miss it. It's just a completely different responsibility than playing forward or defense. You almost become addicted to the feeling of being the last line of defense for your team and facing down every shooter that comes after you like it's a personal challenge against you. People call goalies 'crazy' because they're always willing to jump in front of 90mph slap shots, but that's not what makes us crazy because you can't play this position without fully trusting your equipment. What makes us actually crazy is that we willing put ourselves, every game, into a position where a single mistake costs our team and yet we wouldn't have it any other way. It's the single, hardest position in all of team sports and yet we always find ourselves compelled to do it and greatly miss it when we can't.

  2. Demko in my opinion should stay out for the rest of the season. The playoffs are nothing more than a pipe dream. St. Louis should go in cause of the way they are playing.

  3. Unbelievable that a Demko return would be contemplated now. Cruel and stupid. Besides Silov should get as much time as Lankinnen needs. He's proven at least good enough to be backup, which Demco has not through no fault of his own.

  4. Rushing Back Demko is why he’s been hurt so much last 2-3 seasons.

Blaming Lankinen for a shit performance is stoopid.

He’s the only reason besides Hughes why this team isn’t the next to be mathematically eliminated from playoffs.
