I think we get unrealistic about these kids…..yeah now and again you have one who will out the gate crush. But he's 19 I .ran we have to give him a bit of time. And while watching the game in full it seems he's around the pick, he gets goal scoring chance, he's a presence on the ice a bit…..I'm not nervous about him at all

You’re thinking too technically man… no need to analyze his play data .. simply consider he’s under lots of pressure to succeed @ his first season in the nhl .. pressure creates anxiety which affects his play ! He needs time to build his confidence and get past the pressure, when he does he will show everyone how talented he is !!

I’m not worried about Laf…I think he make a huge jump in his second season. I am worried about Kappo…even though he was more sturdy on the puck and he improved his 200 foot game. I really haven’t seen much sniping ability. Hopefully the new coach can get these guys some confidence. Make a mistake and end up on the 4 line did no good. It should be if you keep making the same mistakes you sit. That’s how it’s always been and that what I believe Gallant will bring.

Dis you even notice because he didn't immediately headman the puck in neutral zone that ranger wings had to slow down and wait for him. Thats weak transition.
