come on, Manfred would never allow it. MLB is the biggest investor for Rawlings which is why Lindor wasn't a GG finalist just to make sure he didn't get any extra MVP votes.

No. If Shohei is healthy and pitches well he has the advantage over everyone else. If he goes 40/40 and wins 15 games with an ERA under 3.50 hes winning MVP and there isnt much anyone else can do about it.

People don't value defense enough. Lindor is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but never gets the respect he deserves from national media and fans.

LOL no comparison and not even in the same conversation with OHTANI he will win it the next 5 years they should just name the award THE OHTANI AWARD. Soto, Lindor, Harper are great players but they do NOT create or re-write history like OHTANI. Just ask Trout, Judge and Ken Griffey Jr and many other elite players they all say no one is like Ohtani. Unanimous MVP 3 YEARS, 50/50, first ever DH to win MVP list goes on and on and he hasn't even pitch yet lol. MLB rarely talks about Lindor every show is about Ohtani or Judge.

If Ohtani pitches and is as good as before his injury, no one else can be considered MVP. That is unless Lindor pitches a few W's also.
overall lindor was better than ohtani last year but Guggenheim marketing strategy makes ohtani shine than cohen's. lindor never has a chance.
