Coyotes were coming out of a rebuild.

Says a lot that the biggest thing to change about the coyotes is management and they’re doing gangbusters, despite coming out of a rebuild. Almost like we should take a lesson from that.
This was my entire point for the past year and a half.
It’s why I hated the Mittelstadt trade, didn’t like the Ryan McLeod trade for Savoie.
The Sabres have stunk for so long, but they’re built like a farm club with a core they’ve assembled.
They’ve started chipping away at the core to speed up the process of getting good.
Chased an idea to revamp their 3rd and 4th lines to “become harder to play against” as a diversion to not being able to overcome their internal / self-imposed salary cap and the willingness of top line talent to come to Buffalo.
They should have stuck with their original vision and just kept the core and added to it via the draft. Because the lousy players that Adams has added have not been players that can change the direction of this organization anyways.
Adams told you his plan back in Nov-December after the Avalanche game – he’s going to wait for his version of Josh Allen to save the franchise.
He can’t think of anything else, he couldn’t execute anything else even if he could think of it.
The Sabres can't evaluate talent and the culture is bad.
Time to clean house.

You’re wrong. The “Hockey Team” is not in its first year. They are the former Phoenix Coyotes. The Golden Knights and the Kracken were expansion teams that immediately became better than Buffalo in their first seasons. But not Utah. Don’t exaggerate. 😂
If Norris was hurt when he came to us (Lindy specifically stated "he's been dealing with it for a while"), Kevyn Adams damned well better DEMAND — at a MINIMUM — that Ottawa return the draft pick we mindlessly gave up as part of the lopsided trade.

Loosen up the purse strings and open the wallet for the Sabres Terry!! Give the Sabres the same treatment and they can recover from being a laughingstock the same way the Bills did!
I’d commit atrocities to have Ryan Smith (Utah’s team owner) leading this franchise. That’s what Terry seemed like he could be at first, but now he is just a far worse Tom Golisano.

Hot take. Adams is stock piling injury prone players so he can use them as a scapegoat as to why they’re playing so badly? He’ll trade Byram because he’s playing good and not injured like he expected.

This roster that Kevin Adams put together may just be the dumbing team in all of professional sports. First they had to be embarrassed into to protecting their teammates and now it seems they need to be embarrassed into communicating on the ice. They can’t fire Kevin Adams fast enough.
Sharks with Grier as GM will be ahead of Sabres next year. Five years with Adams and I see nothing but bleakness. It’s a joke now with me. Terry sucks and it’s all on him and Kim.
