The San Diego Gulls dominated the Henderson Silver Knights with a commanding 4-0 shutout victory on Friday night. Nico Myatovic led the charge with two goals, including the opening tally late in the first period. Carsen Twarynski added a power-play insurance goal in the second, followed by Myatovic’s second of the night just moments later. Judd Caulfield sealed the win with an empty-netter in the third. Goaltender Ville Husso was stellar between the pipes, stopping all 28 shots he faced to earn the shutout. The Gulls capitalized on special teams, going 1-for-3 on the power play while shutting down all seven of Henderson’s opportunities.
