We’re going over some recent comments on the Montreal Canadiens from Pierre LeBrun, on how at least one NHL GM is unsolicitedly scared of the Habs.

They never give up 🔵⚪️🔴🔥🔥
Vancouver Canucks are the best team
to be only 12 points behind the leafs, who are currently also, in their prime, is kind of wild to me. to be 'right there' (throwing that around sorta loosely but wtv) with our divisional rival, at this point of the season, coming slowly outta our rebuild with arguably our best prospect not playing, is crazy. im so excited about the future of this Habs team
Let’s be honest here… no one’s afraid of the habs 😢
yeah everyone is terrified if a 2nd wildcard team with a minus 18 goal differential lol
hutson will win calder as will demigod
Demidov next season , Canadiens will be a young beast team
I watched the game on Saturday 22 March vs the Avalanche. My impression; the Canadiens were outmatched in all positions. That Cale Makar is scary. The Avs were a scary team. The Canadiens did everything and never gave up. If the Canadiens made the playoffs in that last Wildcard spot; and they play the Capitals we will wait and find out. But the Canadiens are not scary.
Great comment
You bet they are scared of this team as they might very well be the NHL’s next dynasty or at least the likely top team in the East for the next decade. You only have to look at their young core:
-Suzuki: elite two-way number 1 center, 85+ pts, $7.875 million for 5 more years.
-Caufield: elite goalscorer, 40+ goals, 80+ pts, $7.85 million for 6 more years.
-Slafkovsky: elite skilled power forward, 30+ goals, 80+ pts, $7.6 million for 8 years starting next season.
-Hutson: elite offensive defenseman, 80+ pts
-Guhle: elite shutdown defenseman, 30+ points, $5.55 million for 6 years starting next season.
-Demidov: superstar franchise player, 40+ goals, 100+ pts
-Reinbacher: top pair two-way defenseman, 40+ pts potential
-Hage: dynamic top 6 forward, wing or center, 60+ point potential
-Fowler: elite starting goalie, top 10 in NHL potential
And I’m leaving out many others as there is SOOO much depth in the system.
@algomaoutdoors…..maybe not, but they will next year….even this year, if the Habs are lucky enough to play the leafs, they SHOULD BE SCARED….😈
