this came by accident, but doesn't show good trainer skills, to be surprised that Nuge is a good center, that. Jeff Skinner can socre, etc, etc. After a year of sjuffling lines, Knoblauch should have known already in which position to best use Nuge, Rico, Jeff Skinner, etc, etc. And McDavid, Draisiaitl, how to best use them and not have McDavid run in a bunch of defenders most of the time. The Oilers passed today better than when McDrai is in the lineup, which again shows that the trainer is not having a good strategy for the roster!
Yes, the Oilers won this game thanks to Nuge's hat trick, but let's look at who played well and who didn't. As I always say: stats don't lie! Goalie Stu, who allowed 4 goals and had .87 SV %, was mediocre as usual😂, and Bouchard🤑 (-1) created a goal for the opposing team, which has become the norm for him, definitely didn't do well. And the Kraken are not a team that is "one of the best" in the NHL. They are out of playoff contention.😇
Really happy for the win. They showed some good chemistry when the lines stay together in critical situations. Although four goals against playing a mediocre team is still a bit concerning. Having to score four plus goals against top tier competition is going to be tough. Defense needs to tighten up to give Skinner a chance to keep the house clean.
Well knowing iced coffee with her everybody gets a trophy attitude will be upset…….sorry these guys are professionals and millionaires that need to perform……Stu looks so defeated all the time and what other 6’7” goalie lays flat on the ice so much? Bouch is just not getting his stride this year again looking lost while the kraken are buzzing in front………and the absolute give away and down they go for and easy goal with Stu throwing himself on the ice! Not even close to playoff contenders those 2.
More fun watching Oilers without Connor and Leon, much more of a team game. Those two get all the attention take a lion’s share of salary cap and hog most of the ice time. It’s like it’s all about Connor and Leon and the rest of the players just shuffle in and out and are expected to produce with limited ice time. Get rid of everyone making 10M plus and replace them with 3-4-5M dollar quality players and youngsters from the farm and roll 4 lines.
Do you think this game opened Knobbers eyes? I doubt it. Roll lines let guys play quit defaulting to 97/29 to bail you out. There are guys on this roster that can play ice hockey

Bouchard needs to sit a game. Refocus his game. I’ve never seen a defense who makes such big turnovers that lead to goals against.
This game revealed evidence for optimism. They have enough depth, and the will to win.
Hopkins nice win he’s team takes charge
It was annoying how much they had to score just to keep up with the goals seattle got. But I'm glad they got a win without McDrai
Bouchard needs to be benched for the rest of the season
Roll those lines! The bottom 6 need more minutes!!!
Nuge is playing like the Nuge of old….love it…he’s put this team on his back and is coming through for us!
KEEP NUGE FOREVER! 🟠🔵
Hard to win with SKinners goal against average.
u found your 3 line center… so 3 good lines…
Does Bouch even watch his own misplays?? Same thing over and over…dude just stops moving his feet, or lazy passing.

Let me guess yr going to say Skinner played good in net once again. "Not"
I'm glad with what I saw. We can win without Conner @ Leon and it's nice to have them for insurance. This team has the want to win.

Connor McDavid all the way
Connor McDavid is my favorite player n he always has been
"Thinking, obviously I'm going to have to sit Skinner for a few games…"
