  1. Jimothy Timothy! Will be glad to have this guy around for a few more years, we all love him here!

  2. That's too much for my liking…. Maybe a solid 3 or 2 yrs at 2.8. I like compher, more than jost, kerfoot, or any of the third-secind tier fellas. Prove it this year JT!!

  3. I love this as a Colorado avalanche fan because he is one of our best players and is underrated, I'd like him to be a 20 or more goal scorer and healthy but when he plays in the playoffs he has shown he steps up when the team needs someone and that's where it really counts. I'm so excited for the near future of this team!!!! But also I'm not gonna sit here and tell everyone we are cup champs, there is work to do but I am excited!!

  4. Thanks, Shannon, appreciate you posting this right away. The improvement/trajectory of both Compher and Jost are important issues this coming season for me as an Avs fan.

  5. Hey, I'm all new to hockey I picked up the NHL 19 for console on sale and fell in love with the game, now I wanna learn more about the real game.

So I wanted to know about the team/roster set up for the games, I know there is 20 picked out for the game but can't find any explanation to why and what all the roles are, I gathered they are 6 ppl on ice and there are power players but can you go in more detail with it ?

hope you see this and thx for your videos 🙂

  6. JT has the potential to be full time on the second line. He has been really one of the only depth players on the Avs who has really preformed in the playoffs. Not only that but he is a tremendous penalty killer. Just watch the game against Arizona last year where he scored twice on the same kill. This move needed to get done and with the deal lasting 4 years, it solidifies Colorado's depth. Kerfoot was very inconsistent while JT was not. Jimothy Timothy always played hard on the ice and was a big loss for the Avs in the middle of the season. When he came back, the Avs got instantly better.

  7. Great player, I think he’s a solid two way Centre who will probably be a consistent 45 point scorer in his prime. Good deal for him

  8. One word, playoffs.. he was a beast for us and he does it all.. pavelski type player if the points gradually go up to 50 60 . Great deal

  9. I see Compher improving still, he showed a lot last season that his defensive game passed his offensive game but his ceiling should be higher than his pt totals still, Just need to stay healthy and im confident he can start putting up 20+ goals each season.

  10. Super Happy to have Compher back! I only see him improving in the regular season and he really stepped up and helped out during our playoff run.

  11. As the Kings, Pens, and Hawks falter from cup contention status, the Avs, Blues, (Maybe Florida) and Lightning have replaced them. San Jose I think still has a chance but their window is closing fast. If none of these teams on the rise don't win a cup or two in the next 5 to 7 years I'd be shocked. But this is the NHL, and what I love about it is that ANY team that makes the playoffs has a shot at the cup. In our sport underdog stories DO come true and often. Who wants it most? See you all next June to find out!

  12. Compher is a clutch player with alot of skill, i'm glad he's sticking with the Avalanche for 4 more years.

  13. Best forward they have outside the top 3. Compher is an absolute stud in any situation, at any end of the ice. He's always going to give 100%.

  14. Keep in mind that he was also injured for a period of time during the regular season. I can definitely see Compher being a regular second line player that can score 40+ points. Not to mention he already performs like a playoff warrior. For 3.5 million dollars, that is almost a bargain.

  15. Colorado Avalanche are looking fantastic and I see why people are picking them as early favorites to win the cup or make the western conference finals. Little concerned about goaltending, but only one way to find out. Let's watch them play.

  16. Great resigning for the Avs. Hopefully an improving depth scorer, and he is the only forward other than Landeskog willing to get in a mafks face.

  17. I love Compher. That said I don't think it's a bargain… I think it'll be about right. He's very versatile and will most likely be worth the deal. I don't think it's an over-pay and I don't think it's a super bargain. Probably about right. I am very happy to have him on the team for 4 years. Probably going to be my next jersey purchase.
