Wow! Love that part at the end of his introduction of his career. 🤯
Simply put Sam Rosen is the background music of our Ranger lifetime. Saw him many times going to the booth. Always had time to talk for a few minutes. Wish he was going out in a better season.
I am sure gonna miss him.
Class act Sam Rosen.
The life blood of the New York Rangers… other than Jim Gordon and the Big Whistle … the 3 Amigos
I wish MSG would rebroadcast Game 7 1994… I bet every penny I have we all remember where we were that faithful night !!!
I hate that this team is not performing in Sam’s farewell season
Met Sam outside msg one night after game years ago, Took a photo! Truly great broadcaster! Will be missed!
Lucky enough to meet him a few years ago. As friendly and kind as you could hope. Congratulations on a legendary career Sam. These won’t be the same without you
Congratulations Sam. You’re the best.
Congratulations Sam on a wonderful career! 🎉 I have been watching and listening to you my entire life. 🥰 As a fan I am so disappointed that I will not be able to watch your celebration because it is not being shown in my state. 😢 I will look for the clips later today. Have a wonderful day, YOU DESERVE IT!!!! I will truly miss you and especially you yelling, “It’s a power play goal!” 🥰💙🏒🥅
God bless u sam. Sad shame this team sucks but whatever right? U have had to live with the worst of the worst
Sam is everything a fan could ever want in an announcer.
His fairness is shown by how many teams besides the very grateful Rangers honored him.
Rangers please WIN for Sam today!!
Sam is as classy a guy as you can get. Will forever be the voice of the New York Rangers and the greatest play-by-play guy in the organizations history no matter who follows. Sam will always be the best.
Enjoy the Early Summer. Sam you've worked harder than this team. And We thank you for it. See you at the Centennial!
true class. even as islanders fan sam was part of my childhood/teen years i would watch rangers games on nights isles were not playing sam and jd were a great duo almost as good as jiggs and eddie westfall lol congrats sam you deserve all the accolades you are receiving
As an Islander fan and as someone who is NOT even close to a Rangers fan can safely say that Sam Rosen is a legend. Enjoy retirement. You will be missed for your iconic calls.
Really going to miss Sam.
IT'S A POWER PLAY GOAL. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Love you Sam! The Ranger players should be ashamed…we will miss you!
gonna miss that voice been ranger fan almost as long as u have announced back with espo and players like glen hanlon barry beck don maloney dave maloney days thanks for memories sam
A living legend. I attended one game at MSG this season and consider it a privilege to be at the game that Sam Rosen was honored for his legendary career. Congratulations Sam!
An iconic hockey 🏒 voice.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The legendary voice of NY Rangers hockey. I'm going to miss him saying, "It's a power play goal." Very few NY broadcasters stay with a team. He's one of them. Phil Rizzuto "the scooter" for the NY Yankees Ralph Kiner for the NY Mets Marv Albert NY Knicks. There's many more, but these men stand out. Retirement shouldn't be so difficult, and you can now enjoy your time spending it with family. Congratulations, Sam Rosen.
not wearing his small hat today
I remember "86 when Sam started on msg.
For the rest of my life when i hear "it's a power play goal" I'll think of Sam. But it'll never sound as good as when Sam said it…Thanks Sam
What an absolute Legend this man is. Happy retirement, Sam! And thank u for being the only voice i loved hearing calling the hockey games for all these years! Thank you!
