NHL games are 60 minutes, not 20? It is not how you start, but how you finish. Consistency is not in the Leafs DNA. 1967 and counting!!!!
Yeah, it's the 4th game in 6 nights, but this was a missed opportunity. Can't expect to win when you only ahow up for 20 minutes.

The more things change, the more they remain the same. This game is just a microcosm of the Leafs play this season. I have no expectations in the playoffs and look forward to see what gets changed next season. By biggest hope is to see Shanahan fired. Not because I hate him or anything but because he needs to be take responsibility for the near-zero results in the time he's been here. Time for a new president and a new direction. Again.

Had this game taken place at the Scotia Bank Arena, they would've been booed off the ice. Up 2-0 on a team that has massively underperformed this season & you take your foot off the gas & start playing la-dee-da careless hockey knowing both Florida & Tampa got beaten earlier. Pathetic. I like McCabe a lot but that was 2 ill-timed pinches by him that you just can't do in an important game. I realize he wasn't solely to blame, but he doesn't pinch in, the odd man rushes both resulting in goals don't happen. Rielly was inexcusably soft on the 4th goal & Woll, after a number of really good games was ordinary, while Saros was very good. 'Disappointing' would be an understatement.
