The Vancouver Canucks and New York Rangers squared off in a game where JT Miller scored to secure the game. Elias Pettersson went out with injury and Quinn Hughes did everything possible to try and win that game for the Canucks, but they come up short of a massive 2 points.

Rangets were holding players jerseys whole game, slashing, they initiate a scrum and we get called for roughing. Rangers are goons. So thay was the most obvious game of umcalled penalties ive seen this year. Refs wS that you winnning ine for Trump. USA I REALLY LOVED AT ONE TIME. Two lucky goals by the Rangers. Deduct those two and there’s no empty net goal and Canucks win. Not a bad game for Van. Hog and EP40 injury situation is more concerning than one loss

The loss of EP40 started the downfall. The season may be rescued with him healthy back in line up, but otherwise Canucks are screwed. Truly.

Lankinen is the only one to blame. Canucks had triple the amount of shots, came back twice and still lost because our goalie couldn’t stop a beach ball. 4 goals on 11 shots is unacceptable. Demko, Chytil, and now Pettersson and Hoglander all injured… this season is truly cursed.

Good to see Mancini playing consistent minutes. We just had too many right shot D’s for him to make the roster. Seems like a good change of scenery and glad ti see him play in the garden again. Feel horrible for Chytil. If it wasn’t for injuries he’d be a really solid top 6 center. So much potential

Allvin trades a top-10 NHL center for a center with five concussions. The top-10 center squashes Allvin's squad while the five time concussed center is likely to never play another NHL game. Now that's management that sinks a franchise.
Thanks for these awesome recaps. I always watch them but this one was especially helpful as I’m away on holiday and missed the game . What a shame we lost.
The type of hockey vancouver plays is just not feasible for a long haul. Too demanding, and causing a lot of injury to the players. Basically overplay Quinn, our goalie and forwards grinding it out there. It is do or die every game.
