Am i the only Habs fan tired of seeing MOntembault spray his face every time there's a slapper from the blue line? It's easy to pick on Monty for letting another one in from somewhere near Trois Rivières, but the shot clock at that point says 10-2 in favour of the Avs, so it's not as if the Habs came out strong. And that second goal was from point blank….. But the team needs stronger goaltending from Monty or someone else.
1:59 Putting it into the goalies pads in 2025? c'mon. I don't question #13, he's a wizard but even he will tell you he needed that one.
Maybe saw some daylight 5 hole but man, that was a lot of open cage upstairs. D-vo shows the correct way for the tying goal, taking out some back handed over the shoulder cheese.
Can we just stop for a minute and admire Gally 2.0? For example him outworking two Avs along the boards and feeding ANOTHER amazing pass to spring D-vo for the tying goal. Not only is he being a workhorse and a heart-merchant but he's providing great skill… Awesome to see from #11.
This is NOT the type of goaltending that makes you a contender.

Whether or not the Canadiens make it to the playoffs, they are showing us right now that next year, they are going to be a team worth recognition. Their comeback in the 3rd period was fantastic. Go Habs, go!!! 🇨🇦

Avs were clearly out of gas the last 10 minutes, and overtime. Give the Habs credit for making a game of it. But, the better team won in the end.
I do hope Montreal hangs on to a playoff spot. They are a fun young team.
I miss the good old days when Quebec produced the best goalies in the world. Roy, Brodeur, Luongo, etc… Until this crisis is resolved, the Quebec and Canadian government should subsidize or at least give tax-breaks on goalie equipment. i am serious. It's come to the point where it's cheaper to buy a Playstation than a jock strap now. The last world class goalie from Canada was Carey Price. That's a long time ago. I guess Hockey Canada was too busy fudging court documents to worry about our goalie crisis…

To come back from being down 4-1, against the hottest team in the league right now, making it to over time, then a double shot out, I`m happy with the point, don`t care about the loss.
It was my first time at the Bell Center and that crowd is beyond unmatched.

I am a long time Leaf fan and I've never dared to say this …..but at least your team gives it all they have. If my team played with the type of passion your team does , we would be a top five team in this league. But they dont, and likely never will until new personnel are brought in. You see my team are a lazy team with little to no passion. I really hope you get in. You deserve it more than my overpaid and under passioned team does. My team gets everything they ask for. Highest contracts, best facilities top seminars and coaches. Anything they ask for. But they don't have half the heart and professionalism your team does. Best of Luck getting in.
