  1. There are sports….. and then there's hockey. It just is what it is. The greatest GD sport on EARTH!!!!!

  2. Why didn’t the Blues try to resign him after the Cup victory? He was cheap and signed in Tampa for cheaper. What’s the true version of why they didn’t resign him?

  3. Hofer was the 1st star of that game, but being that I was a high school kid from Oakville, I thought that this was GREAT!

  4. Three Cups, that's something to be very proud of, even if only one with the 'Note. In retrospect, they could have given him that two-year extension he wanted. Oh well.

  5. What's not to like about Big Rig? And he's won three Stanley Cups. Dude's a blue collar grinder, perfect for St Louis.

  6. First LGB, great 5th win, and 6th at home. I'm a Life long Hawk-hater,,, but, this is just hockey at its finest…you guys are rebuilding strong, Just wait!!!!!

  7. Hopefully he will sign a 1-day contract with the Blues when the season's over to officially retire as one

  8. Growing up in Mehlville and Oakville a school in our district, it's a pleasure to have a hockey star living close! Thank you for bringing the Stanley cup to St Louis, and hope you enjoy your retirement! Let's go Blues

  9. what a wonderful moment. never played hockey but damn i love the culture and respect everyone has for one another on and off the ice!

  10. Side note, those were the worst interview questions you could possibly ask in the moment. Why not say, “Pat you grew up here playing hockey as a kid, winning a state title with oakville, you came back to St. Louis in 2019 to bring home a Stanley cup, it’s your last time playing the game you love in front of the people who have loved you your whole life. What do you have to say to them now?”

  11. As a Preds fan, I hate the Blues and the Hawks, but this was a touching tribute. Classy move by the Blues. Grats Pat on your awesome career and your Stanley Cup in your hometown…. What a storybook ending.

  12. Even though Patty M throws punches soft as pillows nowadays, you can’t argue his prior dominance in his peak as one of the best enforcers during the 2010s, and him winning the cup in 2019 as a part of the St Louis Blue as a St Louis native is quite an accomplishment… I never really was a big fan of yours, but here I tip my hat 🧢, I’ll give credit where credits due good sir, god bless you. Much love to Maroon!

  13. You watch these guys like Patty Maroon play against your team and you despise players like him. One of those guys where you despise them playing against you but would love to have them on your team. He's one of them . Respect
