We CANNOT keep allowing guys like Middleton to take cheap shots and rough up our top players. If we do it will bite us in the end with Larkin or Raymond or other top guys getting injured. Tbh I'd rather bring up Austin Watson and have him play instead of Motte

Fascinating game. First, Edvinsson should start blasting away. Second, this is the first time I have ever seen a penalty being canceled because of a slashing and a roughing on another part of the ice. Excellent refereeing by the Zebras. Third, it is better to let the game clock expire rather than firing away icing pucks towards an empty net. Last game, the Redwings nearly lost a point because of that. Not this game. Fourth, Larkin is not a big physical player. He is a skill player who can score a lot of goals. As such, he should let other players rough other up or screen the goalie. Remember Lidström, Zetterberg and Datsyuk? Yeah, they benefited a lot from Tomas Holmström in front of the net. One of the most underrated Swedish players in NHL history. They should create an award: The Tomas Holmström Award to the best goalie screener of the year. Dylan Larkin should not aim for that award.

Awesome game to be at! Felt good to return the favor with a comeback in their barn after Saturday. Did not feel good seeing Middleton deliver left hook after left hook to my captain’s face… refs really let both teams play the second half of that game
