This video is dedicated to the eternal memory of Penelope Stratigeas (1947-2001). My mother grew up in White Plains on Holland Ave. along with her three sisters (Maria, Betty and Christine), brother (Nicholas) and cousin Paul. She attended White Plains High School and in 1965 married my father, George Damergis and moved to Smithtown shortly after. I was born in 1966, my sister Anna in 1971. After their divorce, the family moved to New Rochelle in 1977. In 1986 she married Basil Litras and moved to Rye. Though we lost her in 2001, her love and boundless beauty lives on…
