  1. Better late than never I explored the love to Icehockey and not only the way how the NYR style to play in the recent years brought me to become a fan, no. The underline was and is the commentary of him that give goosebumps. Man, what a long career. Well deserved to get a ceremony like this. I'm emotional about the 4-5 years I had the chance listen to him, how a NYR fan must feel like for the last 20-30 or maybe 40 years? 😀 Gonna miss him in the commentary box. Greetings from Germany 🙂

  2. Thank you for all the great memories, Sam! Wishing you all the best in your retirement. You've earned it. 💙❤️

  3. Thank you Sam ! I’ve grown up with Sam on the tv my entire life I don’t know what things will be like without him but he’s earned a happy retirement and I hope he gets just that.

  4. Tampa Bay Lightning fan here. Sam Rosen is a legend he will be missed! Amazing broadcaster for the Rangers!!!

  5. Since my childhood in the 80s it's the only voice I ever knew calling the Rangers… can't believe the run is over, you'll be missed Sam

  6. It'll take me a long time to adust to Ranger games wthout hearing Sam Rosen on the mic, especially, "It's a power play goal!!
Godspeed Mr. Rosen and thank you for all the great memories. 🏒💖

  7. How are we not going to hear Sam’s voice from our TV giving us the play by play every game night? I am so sad to see him retire… such a true legend

  8. Sam is the best and it was a privilege to be at this game to cheer on his career. That being said, I think the New York Rangers could have – and should have – done more here. I only hope the brevity and simplicity of this ceremony was at Sam's request. He's earned a special spot in the rafters and, at the very least, some in person speeches from other legends of the organization.

  9. I was incredibly lucky to be able to have lunch with Sam one day when I was about 19 years old. Such an outstanding man, hearing him tell stories and ask legitimate questions about my future. I will cherish that forever, Sam thank you for that hour or so of your time, thank you for the memories with the Rangers. Most importantly, continue to live well.
