Sergei Bobrovsky Talks After Getting Second Shutout of Blue Jackets in Two Weeks

Florida Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky speaks after his team beat the host Columbus Blue Jackets 1-0 in overtime at Nationwide Arena on March 20, 2025.

The Panthers, who had lost three of four, play the Washington Capitals on Saturday, and then return home to play Pittsburgh on Sunday evening.

Bobrovsky made 25 saves for his second shutout of the Blue Jackets in two weeks.

Thursday, Sasha Barkov scored 29 seconds into overtime to break a scoreless tie.

Bobrovsky has three shutouts this month and has not allowed more than two goals in all seven starts in March.

Elvis Merzlikins made 27 saves, only allowing the power-play goal to Barkov.
