NHL Hockey – Vancouver Canucks at Calgary Flames – P-B-P & Color

Live, recorded play-by-play and color commentary of the 2024 NHL Week 23 game between the Vancouver Canucks and Calgary Flames with John Ott and Ian Genge.

The Western Conference race for the second wild card spot is heating up, and two of the teams involved in the chase are the Vancouver Canucks and the Calgary Flames. The Canucks were a surprise team in the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year, yet have regressed to being a wild card team in the league this year, and have been through drama between the locker room split between Elias Pettersson and JT Miller. They’re still in the thick of it thanks to Quinn Hughes and Kevin Lankinen. The Flames are dead last in the NHL in goals scored, yet are in the chase for a playoff spot as Dustin Wolf is making his case for the Calder Trophy. And one can say that should Calgary make the playoffs, he should be the winner of the Calder Trophy as the league’s best rookie.
