  1. I really like Pasta, My favourite player. After the latest trades it will be very challenging for him. I think he would deserve the “C” in Bruins.

  2. Pasta is too clean. I’d like to see you talk more about him not being a defensive player as much. Don’t get me wrong he does his job (goals😍🏒) just doesn’t play very defensive or backcheck much at all.

  3. is Pastrnak a top 5 nhl player? I get he's very underrated but i can't really think of putting him in the top 5 though

  4. The part you talk about pasta being product of Marchy and Bergy…we can see now why both (bergy and marchy) had career years points wise playing with pasta. Pasta has scoring in his blood and even Geekie looks like a 30+ goals player while playing with him

  5. He was greatly changed by the death of his little daughter, who was not even a year old. After something like that, you will always know that there are more important things in life than hockey.

  6. My opinion is that he is one of the most focused players from Boston once playoffs starts. But in previous years there were still other dangerous guys. If Boston make to PO now how many dangerous forwards remain? But you know.. Maybe he will say screw this I go to some other team where I can win few SCs because they have great playmakers so I can make my shots… 😀

  7. I’v been watching the kids whole career he’s an unbelievable talent but he does disappear in the playoffs. Granted he’s been banged up by the time the playoffs roll around so it’s not a surprise he’s not a dominant force. Idk why people shit on him for that Pasta at 85% is better than anyone else the Bruins had to put in his slot and rest him

  8. Pasta has always been more of a one-way player, though I have to admit, his intensity level and willingness to get involved defensively has improved over the last month. He's stealing more pucks, trying to be more disruptive when defenders are trying to clear their zone, I've seen a difference since Marchy got traded. That's the one thing he's been lacking, and why I think he always gets left out of the conversation.

  9. Beacuse he plays for Boston and is European. Most people hate Boston, and the American and Canadian audiences hype up their own guys way more. Definitely top 5 forward in the league and still underrated.

  10. The knock on Pasta is he doesn't have any physical attributes that are outliers. He's normal sized at 6'0, 200 lbs, he doesn't have the blazing speed of a McDavid/McKinnon, he doesn't have the unique wrist shot release that Matthews has and he isn't a big body like Ovechkin. Pasta is all skill/hands and hockey IQ, the closest thing he has to one of those guys is his one-timer on the PP but, there are others who have done that same job better. (Ovechkin, Stamkos in his Tampa days, etc.)

That's why good defensive teams can find a way to neutralize him. He doesn't have that physical X-factor that pushes him through that.

  11. Well, he knows how to decide important moments. We could see that when he scored the Gold goal at WC 2024. He is one of the greatest oat

  12. It’s because he is not Canadian or American. Notice that he didn’t mention Draisaitl as one of the top players. The same thing
